I shake quietly 

waiting for the drug to wear off

wishing I could rip my clothes off 

violently 

hoping ill be bare enough to see myself 

Thus we see everything as a reflection of this and set definitions based on this identity

When you don’t fit the identity someone else has created, they may try to change you or mold you to help them feel better. To help them feel more at peace with their world view. 

You do not need to conform your world view or identity to fit someone else’s mold.

and every day I hope that I will find what to say 

that somehow I’ll paint the picture that I couldn't yesterday 

the image of darkness

or the image of love

that I’m settling in a foreign shape of existence 

with a pattern of destruction 

that overtakes my mind 

and tells me to be afraid of love that makes you blind

I step into the comfort 

of the unknown 

and find a distraction 

whenever I’m alone 

I step into the body that lies beside mine

and look into her eyes for some hope 

in a foreign land 

a garden of eden with my friends 

travelled across the hill and found 

a field of fruit trees

I fucking hate trying so hard when you lie to me and make me feel like im unjustified for my qualities my worth is degraded turning jaded loosing the charm and the drive because of a current that swells within me wondering if ill survive is any of this purposeful if i lose myself will i lose you youre the only one i have to turn to and im scared that i wont be able to ever get better ever improve im afraid of the unknown but what do i have to lose other than to settle on that was good enough but i know i can do better and now its just keeping it up

the comedown of learning and growing reaching the turning point ive faught for so long for something and now its coming and im afraid to disappoint but what it is LIES INSIDE ME the truth of my soul LET IT SHOW im afraid of lying and to let my life go.
