Winter Break was incredible all around. We have never experienced so much snow and had awesome family time. One highlight of our trip was getting to finally connect Max and Jude with our friends Charlie and Milo (@chucklesandmeatloaf ). Julie and I connected several years ago with us both having 2 sons with Down syndrome. The connection that extra chromosome makes is extraordinary. It was so much fun to see the 4 boys play together and to catch up on life. Michael had a special connection with Charlie and Milo’s older brother, Andy. This weekend our family was able to celebrate the first birthday of my only niece, Baby Clarke. Jude is especially in love with Baby Clarke and is quick to tell everyone just how cute she is. There is not a nurse, respiratory therapist, tech, janitor, or pulmonologist at Scottish Rite who he did not tell how cute she is during our stay. Happy 1st Birthday sweet girl!
