Perks of Losing Weight
Some of the things i have noticed
- Hair doesn’t get greasy anymore, it just doesn’t
- There is less to wash, exfoliate, self tan, etc. (Honestly really notice this one in the shower, i used to have 20+ lbs more in my legs)
- Moving with more ease
- Food is cheap. Hello water over cocktails and an apple over spaghetti bolognese
- Generally feeling smaller is a bit euphoric especially wrapped in blankets or trying on old clothes
- Skin clears up because theres less oil production
- Barely sweating (even while exercising or on a hot day)
- Sunglasses/glasses are more flattering against a more angular face
and when i reach my goal weights, i just feel fucking invincible.
I can’t wait to sweat less in summer
bro it doesn’t feel like ‘christmas eve’ at all it feels like ‘reality but slightly to the left’
Ok guys I have one month to lose 10-15lbs!
I am out of school due to corona and I’m being quarantined!
I will be fasting for a week, which will be easy since I will be at home the whole time and there’s no food at home! :)
The hard part will be the weekends since my mom loves to cook up a feast, but I will use being sick to my advantage!

some tricks i use
> chamomile tea helps with a bloated stomach (you can also use it as a steamer if you have a cold, just put the hout the in a bowl, put a towel over your head and inhale the steam for a few minutes)
> green tea boots your metabolism and keeps you awake
> lavender tea is good for insomnia or anxeity
> instant soups can be helpful if you’re craving something savoury
> if you’re tired of drinking plain water, make it fancy with some lemon juice or mint leaves
> freeze lemon water and suck on it if you’re craving something

Mental Health Books
I made a master list of all the books I’ve read (and some that I haven’t) on the topic of mental health. Some are memoirs and some are fiction and some are a mix of both. (Disclaimer: If you don’t like/ disagree with any of the books here, don’t come at me please - I didn’t write them!!)
I sorted the books by illness, and unfortunately some topics are far more written about than others so I couldn’t include everything but if you’ve got any suggestions I’m open to them :)
Also, there’s a book I read recently called That Was When People Started To Worry by Nancy Tucker and it’s a collection of short stories about people with different disorders so I couldn’t add it into one section, but I enjoyed it too much to leave it out. It includes depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-harm, disordered eating, PTSD and borderline personality disorder.
Finally, many of these books will be triggering, so please read with caution xx

Here’s a list of my safe foods and their calories
Oatmeal 148 cals per 40g (it fills me up soooo much and I can never finish a serving)
Celery 2 cals per stick
Cucumber 1 cal per slice
Spinach 25 cals
Raspberries 35 cals
Mangoes 120 cals for a whole mango! (These rlly fill you up and they’re soooo yummy)
Coffee (calories depend on what type but generally around 50 with cream)
Rice cakes 19 cals each
Hot chocolate 30 cals
Sweet potato 103 cals
Diet soda
Any tea!
That’s just a few that I really enjoy, the higher calorie foods are more filling ones that I’d have as a whole meal xx
