overall, the concept of the movie was okayish, but what even was the ending? like what was the point? I was quite locked in till the ending, but that part sort of made me question the realisticness of it.

obviously, Ram Charan carried the movie, no doubt. his acting was the best part about it. the rawness, the emotions, everything was perfectly done.

there was no point of Janhvi Kapoor tbh. just eye candy. and imo, she can't even act, like something about her screen presence just annoys me. she's just there for her body usually.

everything else was good, all the other actors too. Peddi's life was too tragic, and I felt everything with him, which was, again, Ram Charan's screen magic. Direction by Buchi Babu Sana was also perfect.

the portrayal of all the sports was very nice. Made me love cricket and wrestling watching him play them. The style, the mass, the heroism was peak tier. The bgm was also so hooking.

and of course, have to love Divyenndu's debut here, loved to see him any time he was on screen.

mostly a one-off watch; maybe I'll watch it again on OTT in its original language since I watched it in Hindi on the big screen.

I loved ittt istg. Obviously, the books are much better, and I was disappointed by a few things, but I've not seen a better book adaptation recently apart from Heated Rivalry ofc.

The show was stolen by Allie and Dean, which is something that I feel could have been gatekept till their season, cause they were so hot, I was looking more forward to their scenes than Garrett and Hannah's lol.

And daddy redemption?? Why, lol, but it wasn't a bad change tbh. Suited the series. Although Garrett hating hockey was weird to see.

Also having Hannah kiss Logan instead of Dean was smart af, cause his longing was so justified.

Why was there more of Justin in the series? He was much more relevant than in the books, and idk how to feel about that.

Also who tf is Jules? EW. I did not like their presence on screen or the storyline at any point of time. What was the point of their character. I think just for that Insta account relevance, but idk, very off.

My most major disappointment was the campus wide hands-off law. LIKE WHYYYY was it so brushed off. This was my favourite part. Likeee. Ughhhh. Why was Garrett not the one to invoke it and why was it just brushed off as passing. That pissed me off a lil.

Also I needed more book dialogues and Garrett being more handsy, but I guess we just can't have all that we want.

Cannot wait to see what they'll do with the next seasonnn.

Like after watching the Bhool Bhulaiya sequels and the other weird horror comedies Bollywood is coming up with, this felt very wholesome and was welcomed like a breath of fresh air.

Especially looking at the director and the rest of the cast. I missed og Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, the late Asrani sir, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal combo. It genuinely felt like a comedy with well-written jokes (overlooking the reused ones ofc), and the horror was also quite nice. The plot twists were good and the jump scares were fr. I was anticipating the ending, and wouldn't have guessed wtv was going on.

It did feel like a tribute to the old Priyadarshan, but maybe this was what Bolly horror comedy needed. Sanya also did a good job as Akshay's sister, and Akshay, as always, was a treat to watch on screen. It felt like the og Akshay Kumar, not the commercialized one. Wamiqa was there, but not rlly necessary, more like just there for a heroine opposite the hero, but eh.

Obviously there were poor points (like spoiler alert - the double role), but for this one, I'd like to look at the plus points only, because I genuinely enjoyed watching it. I would defo re-watch once it's less fresher on my mind.

P.S. This felt like the real Bhool Bhulaiya 2 eheheh.

Any praise for Adarsh Gourav will never be enough. The chameleon that he is, he fits into every role he plays effortlessly. One of my favourite actors currently, for sure. Him as Flow was an absolute treat to watch, and his acting was just phenomenal.

And Shanaya Kapoor also did a great job. She acted beautifully, exceeding expectations tbh. I'm excited for what she'll be a part of next.

Obviously, my favourite dialogue has to be 'Tu yedi ho gayi hai kya bachi'. The entire movie was amazing. Didn't even feel like a remake or an adaption, so I'm quite happy about that.

Also, the language, the music, everything was just perfectly portrayed. Defo gonna re-watch the movie soon!!!

Loki is my new favourite Marvel characters hands down. okay maybe competing with Thor, but he's defo up there.

the character arc has to be the best one, and the man that he isss. ughhh.

what do you mean he holds the power of the entire universe in his hands. the literal fucking timeline.

cannot wait for loki vs doctor doom man. has to happennnn. i NEED to see where that goes.

also of course Loki would fall for a version of himself lol.

but like, the way he is still alone but at the top reinforces his only fear. my poor baby. i desperately wish he didn't have to be alone there. and out of choice, just to save everyone else. like, if that's not the best character development idk what is.

there wasn't much of Gabriel this season, something I was really hoping for, and even Marcello was quite insignificant according to me. They could have left that plot in Rome, imo. Or if they were gonna bring him in, get more chemistry and yearning between the characters please.

And excuse me? Wtf was Alfie and Mindy even. Like? Why was that plot even introduced? I would have preferred to have him still as Emily's romantic interest, or just removed from the season entirely rather than pairing him up with Emily's BEST FRIEND out of all people. And for them to lie? Even worse, like, I never thought Mindy would do something like that to Emily, whom she owes so much to.

It kept me hooked from the get-go, and I wouldn't have expected any of the plot twists tbh. Kept me guessing the entire time. So different from the book, though I liked the new concepts they brought in.

Although, there were some plot holes I would've loved to see explored further, but oh well. Also, no scope for another season? Maybe that's for the best, cause the ending didn't really leave room for a future story.

Stellar acting from the cast. Dove and Avan had explosive chemistry, and they did absolute justice to their characters.

He's made such an insane movie with the absolute perfect cast. Ranveer Singh plays his role perfectly, stellar performances by Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi, but of course, the one who stole the show for me will definitely be Akshaye Khanna. How to believe he is the same Aatish Khanna. Oscarr!!! The range, the perfectly fitting music (tbh the music deserves a separate post entirely), the storyline, the anticipation, even the real recordings of 9/11, everything just made the movie much more intriguing and left goosebumps at every single scene. Could not take my eyes off for even a second. Ramba Ho and Fa9la never leaving my head fr.

I've got so many theories for part 2, cannot wait at all. DHU-RAN-DHAR🔥🔥

P.S. How did the censor board let this pass lol. Insane visuals, would not want anything else.

P.P.S. Also the fact that both parts have been shot and releasing so early six months after the other is commendable. I hate having to wait years for the next part of a movie, so this is something much more fresh and welcomed.

P.P.P.S. Lastly if the RAN in Dhurandhar stands for Ranveer Singh and the DHAR for Aditya Dhar, then what does the DHU stand for? Need to know if I'm right about thiss.

The nostalgia, the larger than life feeling, everything, unmatched.

Forever a Baahubali fan. Prabhas anna is another level, as always. Rana sir's acting on fire. Anushka Shetty as graceful as ever. Ramya Krishnan on top of her game. Each and every scene, carefully thought out to match audience requirements.

And Aryan Khan's directing and brainrot? The petty digs and sarcasm? Scenes recreated? Movie and real-life references? Absolute cinema.

Some types of love cannot be defined, and that was Saiyaara to me. It left a lasting imprint on my heart, one where I'll fondly look to whenever I start to think less.

Mohit Suri is a genius. The soundtrack is unforgettable. Ahaan Panday is mesmerizing, captivating, and raw. Aneet Padda is heartwarming, heartwrenching, and a breath of fresh air. 10/10 movie, so out of syllabus for Bollywood.

On another note, why did they fuck the last season up so bad. Like, Rajan is the character I hate the most, and everything else for that matter could've been handled better:(

Sparsh Srivastava is the loml. Him as Bhugol was a treat to my eyes. Actually anything he does is amazing man. Fav actor rn.
