"I am not a vessel for your good intent" goes hard as a line from a disabled perspective. Abled people care so much more about being their idea of a good ally than they do actually being a good ally. They shove their good intent right down your throat and then act surprised when you tell them they're suffocating you.

dropped a whole paragraph about it in my mutual’s comments but half the people on this site who cry about lolcowing would probably be the first to perpetuate it and a lot of them do

you say lolcow and think someone whose bad take blew up and got a ton of negative attention. i say lolcow and think someone who’s being actively manipulated by bad faith actors who got close to them for the sake of validating their harmful beliefs and behaviors. who tell them they’re not doing anything wrong and anyone who says otherwise is just being hateful unlike them, their best friends. who lie and keep them from improving, because once they get better the game is over, there’s no more shit to farm from their mouths. in recent memory i’ve seen people be called lolcows because they received backlash for racism, or pedophilia, or rape apologia, and i’ve seen a lot of defense for those actions by people who do the same. i don’t think most of them fit the criteria of a lolcow but if they did, some of those defenders would be right up there “managing” them
