And I guess what forever engraved this experience in my soul was the fact that when my dad picked me up from the concert and I was excited to share everything with him he started yelling at me for a very stupid reason*. And while he was still going at it on the bus, a whole bunch of fans got on and started singing Famous Last Words and he suddenly understood how much he fucked up. This meant so much to me and this community understood me like he never could and I just saw the regret on his face. That's not to say that he apologised or anything, but he was definitely impressed.

I was not aware of how few Danger Days fans there were until I went to the MCR concert in Florence. We were all discussing what songs we wanted to hear on the B stage and people were super on board with Bullets and even Conventional Weapons (I audibly screamed when Ambulance was played btw!!) but there was so much reluctance when it came to Danger Days. I might be biased because it's the album I listen to when I work out, so that's mostly how I learned the lyrics, but almost nobody knew the lyrics to Planetary GO, at least in my section. Some people even looked at me like a crazy person when I said I really wanted to hear Summertime or Save Yourself, let alone the disbelief they had when I said that Foundations of Decay was my top song in 2025.
