Cough- anyways, this little ol' blog here is to post abt this little thingy of ours. If you didn't know, me and my moots, have a small discord server, well not really small anymore lmao but that's besides the point!
This blog is to show off the AU that has been personally made by us whimsies! Called the Whimsies AU lol, or our version of canon besides OLNF canon itself haa- But minus that, here's a smallll explanation on it!
Azzy, my mc, is the AU's mc! All collectively agreed on by the server's members haha- the other mcs, AKA my moots' MCs are already individuals who had been living in Golden Grove, some have lived there all their life, some have moved to Golden Grove like Azzy did. But besides that, Azzy's the new kid! Oh yeah and she has Opal as the parent whilst the other MCs have their own families and parents/carers!
And that's also an explanation why some of us are suddenly giving out art of our mcs together, as in together as ships haha- BUT YEAH! Our whimsies AU has a whole new direction from canon olnf but it still sits in that universe and QiuTam are still Azzy's neighbours, the other mcs are,,,somewhere-

In the girl bands debut, the group concept was fairly incomplete upon their first public appearance. So their first album is only based on the namesake of Candy Hearts (aka conversation hearts) but their concepts mature after the first album.
The mix up was at the fault of the company but their producer and songwriter are more than willing to work with the opinions of the band members!
Vivian is the lead singer, Azzy is the keyboardist, Cassa is the bassist, Lina is the drummer, and Frannie is the guitarist!

Azzy was a rather cheerful kid, she liked to talk, play, interact with others, she expressed her emotions well through her actions and words. Sunset Bird was her original home. They knew that they were different, but nobody knew that and if they did, well, Azzy thought she wouldnt be percieved any differently, sure, she was born intersex without any proper gender assignement, but that just meant her Mama loved them the way they were!
She had people to hang out with too, like her cousin Milou, auntie Noelani and Pamela, her cousin Lee and Milou's across the road neighbour! Even growing up being called by she/they was the best way to label themselves, however, when other kids at her school found out abt her being intersex and go by she/they, they made fun of her, calling her weird, a freak, someone who didn't deserve to be seen as a human, for them, there was only 2 genders, boy and girl, that was it, there wasnt meant to be a third gender or pronoun to be used.
Azzy wasn't a person, she wasn't a human, and her 'strange' pupils weren't making the comments any lighter on her. Nobody liked her freakish pupils, how they could change colours, how it should how their eyes gave away how she truly felt about them. Azzy had only gotten this quirk when she was 8, so when people started to see this little perk of their's, friends started drifting away like fallen leaves in the wind and the comments kept flooding in like tidal waves, sometimes Azzy just wanted to get rid of her eyes so maybe, just maybe people would perceive them as a normal person, maybe if they had been assigned a gender she wouldn't be seen as strange or some weirdo for being both 'male and female'.
But of course only her family got that, nobody else did. Of course they didn't, Azzy started acting up when people made fun of her, starting fights and screaming at her teachers despite Milou and Cove's attempts to calm her down. But she didn't want to, why should they have to calm down for THEM? Why should she care what people thought if they didn't care enough to be kind to them for once?
Azzy couldn;t stand to look at herself in the mirror, seeing all that she was, a freak, a monster, inhuman, a weirdo, someone who was anything but who she was, was she a boy? Was she a girl? She didn't know, she didn't know if she WANTED to know at all.
Azzy didn't know if it was normal for kids like her to think these thoughts, thinking that it'd be better if she was normal, or if they weren't born at all, that maybe her Mama deserved a better a kid, a normal kid unlike her, who was a mess, someone who didn't fit the mould, someone who didn't belong anywhere except forgotten in an old toy box.
In the end seeing the effect and the path the bullying was causing her child, Opal thought it was the best decision to move away. Despite Azzy's protests, the insistence, the fear of being hated on again, Opal made her choice. Azzy didn't speak to her mama for days, often throwing tantrums and screaming in their room. But one day she just became silent, one day tugging at their mama's cardigan and asking if she could dye her hair. Opal, reluctantly, allowed and helped Azzy. Azzy was silent the whole time, she didn't know how to feel, IF they should feel, but it gave some sort of relief she supposed.
Azzy was scared, about leaving, about being made fun of, about change, about not knowing who they were, but, Mama made her better in the end after many cries and needed reassurance, but Azzy didn't speak all that much anymore, not after where that's led her, hate, anger, disgust, injuries, blames and such. So maybe being silent was the best choice to go with.
