Hi all! Firstly, Iβd like to thank everyone for the last 12 months! Itβs been incredible to get to know so many writers and put out so many works that Iβm proud of. Iβm grateful for the support and love that Iβve been shown.
That being said, I think itβs time that I say a final goodbye as I will no longer be active on this account. It is with a heavy heart that I say this, although I believe itβs been a long time coming (considering I have been inactive for almost six months.)
I understand that for many of you, that you were waiting on my series to be finished or part twos to be made, but I have genuinely lost an interest in writing and reading for Marvel based works.
Iβd like to thank you once again for the great memories and encouragement you have shown me, and to all the people Iβve met and supported, keep doing what youβre doing! Youβre doing amazing!
Hi! Could be a post I surely turn back on (it is 4am) in a week but who knows, weβll see how I feel!
Lately, Iβve been feeling extremely demotivated from writing and reading all together. I think part of it, at least on the writing side, is a satisfaction with writing the things I want to write. But also, a dissatisfaction of how theyβve performed in my eyes.
Iβm always the person telling my friends and moots that numbers donβt matter, but at the end of the day, I still find that they affect me more than Iβd (usually) like to admit. I find it comes from a desire to see success rather than something negative, but that is starting to wane down on me.
I also feel a part of it is the community at the moment. I donβt want to get involved in any particular way in terms of drama, but it is something that is starting to make me want to disengage from the fandom completely.
So for the foreseeable future, I will be taking a step back from posting until Iβm ready. If I find the motivation to read, I will and I will do my due diligence to support it as much as I can (reblogs, comments and likes are the best thing you can do for the fics you read FYI). But until then, this is bye for now.
Thank you, I appreciate your understanding and my apologies for the inconvenience.
Lot longer than I thought Iβd be. I think a lot of us, especially when we take a break, expect to be back within two weeks raring to go. But honestly, I havenβt been raring to go back. Uni started this week, motivation is still at an all time low. Itβs disappointing but Iβm trying to get through it.
I know the way I phrased this previous post made it almost sound like Iβd be back soon rather than later, but itβs honestly going towards later rather than sooner. I apologise, I know many of you are waiting on the completion on Turn Back Time or just to see the rest of what I have to offer, but youβll just have to wait a little longer.
I will say there is something coming in the next three months for fem!bucky lovers and I do hope you stick around for that!
Until then, thank you for sticking around and supporting my work! I do really appreciate it more than youβll understand and thatβs why I thought youβd deserve an update on where Iβm at! Thanks for reading through and I hope you continue to read everyoneβs work in this community regardless!

βWell, after Captain Rodgers vetoed your order, how did you respond?"
Bucky sits back in his chair, legs spreading slightly as he adjusts his posture, "I told Rodgers, Captain, if I'm shooting, I'm emptying the whole gat. No Nazi scum is making it out of the facility alive. Excuse my French."
"No need to excuse yourself, Sergeant. Trust me when I say I've heard much worse in my line of work," you say, eyes still locked on your typewriter keys.
With sharp eyes he calls to you, "How did a pretty thing like you end up in this line of work anyway? The boys said that they had you stationed in Kyiv before being hauled out here."
"You would be correct, Sergeant Barnes. Agent Carter sought me out after some work I had done for her several years ago. Rodgers asked her for a trusted scribe, and apparently, I was the option she presented."
"So you know Steve," He asks as he straightens his back, arms crossed over his chest.
Fingers pausing, you take a glance at Barnes, " Not necessarily. I report to Agent Carter; therefore, I only see Captain Rodgers in passing."
He looks off for a moment, his mind obviously elsewhere. You hear him let out a small huff, his cold breath leaking from his slightly chapped lips.
With a frown, you call to him, "Is something the matter, Sergeant?"
"No, no nothing's wrong sweetheart," he answered, "Just shocked that this is our first time meeting, seeing that we work only a heads turn away from each other."
You shoot him a small smile before pulling the parchment free from the top of your typewriter. With pen in hand, you make your way around the table towards Bucky.
"Simply the way things have worked out Sergeant. Now, if you don't mind, will you sign off at the bottom of the page for me? Agent Carter is expecting me at a quarter to four, and I would rather not be on her shit list."
He chuckles, the soft rasp of his voice ridding the chilled air around the two of you. Taking the pen from your fingers, he lets out a phrase you couldn't quite understand.
βExcuse me?," you stammered.
βBucky, everyone just calls me Bucky," he exclaimed.
βWell," you mutter, sticking your hand out towards him," It was nice meeting you Bucky."
He grips your hand firmly, his rough thumb rubbing the soft skin on the back of your hand, "It was nice to miss you as well, won't be the last time, I'm sure."
With one last glance, your hand slips from his as you collect yourself.
βYes Serg I'm sure it won't be."

Pairings: Steve Rogers x Female Reader, Dark!Andy Barber x Female Reader
Summary: Steve broke your heart. Andy wants to pick up the pieces.
Word Count: 300
Warnings: mention of break-up, heartbreak, dark themes, angst, Steve Rogers (he's a warning, okay?).
A/N: Day 2 of the January Jumble Scribbles Challenge. Prompt: Where worlds collide and days are dark. β€οΈ Not beta read and written on my phone, so any and all mistakes are my own. Divider by the talented @saradika-graphics . Please follow @navybrat817-sideblog for new fics and notifications as I no longer do taglists. Comments, reblogs, feedback are loved and appreciated!
People said time healed all wounds. You werenβt sure if you believed that. The pain lingered beneath the surface, and some days it was enough to crush you. Others, you willed yourself to forget that you gave your heart to someone who easily threw it away.
If you only knew the truth.
βIβd love to take you on a date.β
Andy Barberβs voice settled over you. The man was admittedly handsome with his perfectly trimmed beard and soft smile. His blue eyes reminded you of Steve Rogers, the man who still held your heart. Which was exactly why you couldnβt accept his offer.
You couldnβt give a piece of yourself to a man when you still longed for another.
βIβm sorry, but Iβm not quite ready.β
It was pathetic. Steve broke up with you months ago, telling you it was for the best as he wiped your tears away. Why couldnβt you move on?
Why couldnβt you let him go?
A prickling feeling crawled up your spine when Andyβs eyes darkened, but they softened immediately. βI understand,β he said, briefly putting his hand over yours. βAnd Iβll wait.β
You tried to smile, but it fell flat. You didnβt want to give him false hope. It wouldnβt be fair.
What you didnβt know was that Andy had no intention of waiting. He was going to take you whether you agreed or not. And no one was going to stop him.
No one except for Steve.
He thought breaking your heart would keep you safe from his enemies. All it did was put a target on your back. But heβd save you and apologize, even if you hated him for ending things instead of giving you a choice.
Where worlds collide and days are dark, that was where he would find you.
My original intent with the prompt was going to be supernatural and the muse refused. π Love and thanks for reading. β€οΈ

shoulders slumped and heart aching, you gazed down at shaky hands. your mind was a personal hellβa minefield where no thoughts felt comforting. you wanted to throw up, or curl up and die.
your brain was stuck on two prominent emotions: anger and desperation, where those two worlds collided, and the day seemed dark. no matter how many times you tried to pull yourself from that pit, it felt endlessβgloom commanding your mind.
yet, light, warmth, affixed to your body as a solid palm squeezed your shoulder, coaxing you back to the present. "it's not your fault, baby," yelena cooed, sitting beside you, the mattress squeaking under her weight.
the missionβit all went poorly because of you. you made one wrong move, and the entire team was pinned. but one glimpse into green eyes had your walls crumbling down.
she grinned, laying a delicate hand on your cheek, thumb sweeping under your eye where tears still lingered. "i did save your ass," she teased, eliciting a huff of laughter from you. "but what happened wasn't your fault."
"i was so stupid," you choked, tears welling in your tired eyes.
"hey," she scolded, lifting her hand to brush her fingers through your hair. "you have a beautiful brain, not stupid."
she leaned in, pressing a kiss to your hair, then your cheek, and finally your lips. it was soft, gentle, pouring all the love she felt for you into it. you melted, cupping her neck to deepen the kiss.
when you both pulled away, breathless, you rested your forehead against hers. "thank you," you whispered weakly. "for being here."
"of course, my love. i'll always be here," yelena said truthfully. she inclined back, gazing into your eyes, smirking. "how 'bout i give you something else to think 'bout?"
Part of @societynsoelsscribbles January Jumble Event
Prompt | Jan 2 | Where worlds collide and days are dark
π Pairing: Clark Kent x Reader
π Warnings: A little suggestive in parts. Author's first time writing Clark Kent so may not be the best :(
π Words: 343 (I'll get there)
π Chirps: I really didn't have a good thought for this prompt, so this is probably cheesy...a big thank you to @ornateglass for reading this and assuring me that I'm not completely messing up Clarkie's character π«Ά
Clark Kent asking you out had always felt inevitable. At least to him anyway. From the moment you had sat your briefcase down on your desk at the Daily Planet and introduced yourself, he was already smitten. And then you began introducing articles to Perry about Superman's heroicsβ¦well. Let's just say he was well and truly done for.
What began as what Clark imagined could be a controllable crush, unraveled quite quickly. Or rather, the longer he spent in your presence, listening to acclaims of Superman falling from your lips, the more he wanted to pull you aside and have you sing of his praises while he worshiped you on his knees. But he couldn't jump straight to that, no. Ma and Pa had raised him better than that.
"What do you think of this for a tagline for my new article?" You asked, pulling him from his daydream. Your head popped up over the partition between your two desks to peer down at him. The black rimmed glasses you wore perched low on your nose.
"When worlds collide, and days are dark, the citizens of Metropolis can always count on Superman to keep the heavens from crashing into the horizon of our future." Your nose scrunched as you read it, the displeasure clear. "Nah, never mind. Too wordy. Who am I, Shakespeare?"
And just like that you disappeared behind the frosted plastic once more.
Clark stood up just as your fingers settled along the keyboard, unable to keep the question in any longer. "Do you want to go to dinner?"
"Now? It's barely 3," you responded, eyes glancing at your watch.
"No, like, later. We can go to that one Italian place Geraldine reviewed last week."
Your lips quirked into a smile, and Clark heard the distinct uptick in your pulse as you agreed.
And if dinner ended with Clark spilling the secret of his true identityβ¦which led to him between your thighs, finally thanking you properly for your continual approving prose of Superman? Well. Who were you to complain?
warnings/tags. no warnings, except for bucky's devilish charm. references to religion. angst if you squint.
notes. my silly little take on day 2 of january jumble scribbles for the prompt β where worlds collide and days are dark.
event masterlist | main masterlist
The assignment was simple. Travel to earth, locate the specified human and protect them from temptations. What could go wrong with that?
A question you really wished youβd never asked yourself.
It first started with the traffic. I mean, good Godβum. Excuse me. Good gosh, it was a nightmare trying to get to earth. First the escalator broke and apparently those with wings forgot how to use them.
You, however, hadnβt earned your wings yet. But, surely, Archangel Michael would notice your perfectionism and ability to carry out this holy task without fail.
Nothing would stand in your way. Well, except for a devil by the name of Bucky. Who now stood outside your assigned humanβs bedroom window.
βWhat are you doing?β you hissed.
Buckyβs head swiveled, a devilish grin on his face. βHey, darlinβ. Just doing my rounds.β
βUh uh.β You clicked your tongue and hastened forward, blocking his path. βYou are not corrupting my human.β
βCorrupt?β Bucky tilted his head, hair flopping, revealing barely-there burgundy horns. βIβm not here to corrupt. I was sent to bring you to Hell.β
You rolled your eyes. βOh, that is expired holy water.β
He reached inside his velvet waistcoat and drew out a notebook, flipping open to a page and sliding it into your hands. βSee for yourself.β
Skimming the scribbled penmanship, you noted the exact similar details of the human listed and at the bottom was a picture of you, labeled outcast.
You scoffed, cheeks burning. βIβm not an outcast. Iβm an angel, I have the halo to prove it.β You snapped your fingers, awaiting the glowing circle to appear over your head, but nothing happened.
Another snap, then another.
Still nothing.
βNo, no, noβ¦β You fumbled through your satchel, drawing out your heavenly passport. Flipping open the cover, the glowing words outcast were stamped under your picture.
The booklet slipped from your hand, realization dawning on you like nails puncturing your heart. βIβmβ¦Iβmβ¦β
βHeyβ¦β Buckyβs deep voice rumbled. βYouβre going to be fine.β
Tears slid down your cheeks. βBut, what am I supposed to do now?β
βYou can stay with me if you want. You know, like old times before I wasβ¦β He trailed off, shoving his hands into his pockets.
You knew this was the best option for the circumstancesβdamned as they were. And you also knew, every time spiritual worlds collide and days are dark, Bucky was always there to catch you.
Requested by this anon! Thank you so much! I had so much fun writing this!
Watching Bucky suck your strap was more entertaining than you thought it would be. It was her strap, really, not that you couldn't reap the full benefits of watching her throat bulge from the tip and her eyes water from the length. Normally, the positions would be reversed, with your painted red lips causing streaks on the teal coloured cock and gags coming from your lips as she brutally fucked your face.
But today was different, with the events of the morning and afternoon being chaotic as hell, and taking a toll on Bucky's mood, all she needed now was to have all the focus on her while you took care of her. Your fingers threaded through her hair, softly coercing her into relaxation as you thrusted your hips into her face every so often, getting her nose closer and closer to your bush.
"Doing so good for me, Sweetheart," You murmured, brushing the tears out of her eyes with your thumb. "Once it's all nice and wet, I'm gonna fuck you so good, Baby Girl."
Bucky's ocean eyes glistened as she looked up at you, glazed over as she stared into your own eyes as if begging for more. Your brunette girlfriend took it all to the end, gagging before slipping her lips away from the strap, her saliva dripping from her lips.
"Good girl, Jamie. Such a good girl for me," You held her face with your palm, stroking her cheek with your thumb as you coaxed her towards you. Your digits trailed down her naked body, brushing past her navel and slipping between her thighs. "So wet, honey. Did sucking my dick get you all hot?"
She nodded and let out a soft whine as you grabbed onto her hip, bringing her to sit on the strap, the plastic sitting in between her folds. Your fingers dug into both sides of her waist, dragging her pussy back and forth along your dick until you yourself were wet at the sight of her becoming needy under your touch.
"You ready, Jamie?" She nodded as you helped her to sit up on her knees, watching as her thighs shook as you positioned the tip at her entrance. "Gonna need words, Sweetheart."
"Please, Baby."
"Anything for you," You murmured as you slowly lowered her down onto your lap, letting her take her time to adjust to the size. "Tell me when you're ready, okay, Baby? I don't want you to hurt yourself."
Bucky took some deep breaths, her hands on your shoulders, gripping onto you so tightly you were sure there would be fingerprint-shaped bruises the next morning. After a couple more minutes of lowering herself quarter inch by quarter inch, she reached the end. Her clit rested against your pelvis, making her shake around the strap.
"Ready," She moaned, taking a deep breath as you rocked her backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards against you.
"You're so fucking pretty, Bucky. Always so good for me, always taking care of me. It's time for me to take care of you," You hummed, watching her fall apart on your lap. You moved your thumb to circle her clit, watching as her thighs shook next to yours. "I love you so fucking much, Baby Girl. Want you to cum whenever you're ready for me."
She let out a soft cry as she buried her face in your neck, holding on desperately to any part of your body as she orgasmed around you. You held the back of her head, brushing through it as she calmed down. Bucky's breathing slowed against your shoulders, huffs became slow inhales and even softer exhales.
"I love you so much, Jamie."
"I love you more," She babbled against your skin. "That was so fucking good."

Prompt: βWhere worlds collide and days are darkβ | Day 2 of the January Jumble Scribbles
Pairing: New Avengers!Bucky x Goddess!Female Reader
Word count: 300(again, please don't count the words)
Above you, the sky cracks open like shattered glass, realities bleedig into one another. Portals swirl all around New York, with alien armadas coming out of one, long lost dinosaurs roaring through another. On the ground, the Avengers fight desperately, a superhero on what feels like each corner of the city, but the collision is accelerating. World ending. The efforts are powerful, but all of them seem out of place. A fight that was never meant to be won.
Bucky Barnes stands at the epicenter, vibranium arm gleaming under fractured lightning, directing the defense. Sweat stings his eyes, drips down his cheek, but he doesnβt falter. He has lost too much to ever dare let the universe take more.
A ripple of energy hushes the chaos. You descend, ethereal light cloaking your form. Mortals have forgotten beings like you; a goddess, guardian of realms. You used to weave their fates, and are now forced into the sidelines, watching men like Bucky for years. Decades. A soldier broken and rebuilt, fighting for redemption in a world that has been too hard on him.
He spins, gun raised. βI told you to stay away.β
You meet his steel-blue gaze, your expression soft despite the end of the world around you. A long time ago, youβd shared something. A kiss, a bed, hearts heavy with emotionβuntil Bucky realized who you were. What you were. Heβd left before you had a chance to tell him you needed to be here.
βI told you Iβve seen too many worlds die,β you say, voice like silk on shivering skin.
βStay back,β he growls, stepping forward with a hard gaze. βWeβre handling this. Weβll seal the rifts and save everyone.β
A sad smile touches your lips as another portal tears wider, almost fully eclipsing the sun. βThis is the day where worlds collide and days are dark,β you tell him as shadows swallow the city turned into battlefield.
Bucky freezes, recognition flickering for a moment. There is something human in you, even if he refused to see it the first time you revealed yourself to him. You extend your hand toward him, welcoming once again.
βLet me help, James.β
Hope settles in his eyes for the first in a long time. He takes your hand. And your worlds finally align.
Characters: Bucky Barnes x Reader, ft. The Thunderbolts

Thick snowflakes drift through the Manhattan skyline, passing by the large glass windows in a flurry of white as they make their way to the street far below.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere inside the Tower is an odd mix of cozy and cold, exacerbated by the gloomy weather outside and the random pieces of Christmas decorations that still somehow linger despite the holiday being long over.
Your gaze slides lazily between the warm glow of the electric fireplace flickering in the common area to the large snowflakes fluttering by outside.
It's been snowing for days.
On day one, no one bat an eye as the snow came down; starting out as a light dusting on the window ledges before quickly growing heavy.
Around mid-day on day two, Bob was the first to comment on itβsomething about it being perfectly idealβwith his nose pressed against the glass in an attempt to look down below.
By day five, you couldn't even remember the last time it wasn't actively snowing. A thick blanket of white now sits on any outdoor surface of the building it could settle on. The electric fire and the building's heating system was only doing so much in the large space while you, Ava, and Yelena lie bundled up on the couch.
"This is ridiculous," Ava mutters under her breath. "Stuck in this damn place and we're still cold. Can't Valentina find us a mission in Hawaii or something?"
Bucky sighs from a corner of the room where he's quietly cleaning his weapons. "That would be too kind. With our luck, she'll send us to Siberia."
Alexei saunters into the room, a large crooked grin on his face. "Reminds me of winter as child. Everything stayed frozen for months. If enough snow, we would go sledding for hours, all us kids. Made for good neighborhood bonding time. So fun."
Yelena rolls her eyes, sinking lower into the couch cushions as she tugs the blanket tighter around her frame.
As you continue to watch the snow fall, your mind begins to replay Alexei's wordsβtumbling around in your head incessantly until it finally hits you.
"That's it!" you exclaim, suddenly sitting up straight. Four pairs of eyes snap to you in surprise, though no one says a word. "We should go sledding!"
The air goes completely still in the room. No one moves a muscle, almost scared that if they do, you'll actually move forward with the idea and drag them outside where it's far colder. Even Alexei is frozen in place. Much to their dismay, you grin and pop off the couch.
"Come on! Team bonding activity!"
Still, no one moves. It's as though the room itself is holding its breath. After a few tense seconds, Bucky is the first to break the silence with your name slipping gruffly into the air.
"It's cold outside," he mutters.
You scoff, hands finding your hips. "Is the Winter Soldier afraid of a little snow?"
His lips part in surprise, a little offended but fighting back a chuckle at the audacity. He wanted to point out the temperature, the idea of trudging through snow just to get anywhere, or even traffic. Instead, he shakes his head, the smallest smile tugging at his lips, before finally saying, "Fine. Everyone bundle up."
By the time the group makes it to Riverside Park, not a single person is unhappy at the prospect of being there; letting loose for the first time in years despite the frigid cold. Well, everyone except Bucky.
"Why the long face?"
He's quiet for a moment. "I'm too old for this," Bucky mumbles, his hands gripping the hard plastic sled in his hands tighter than necessary.
"Scared you'll break a hip?" you tease. A quick bump with your shoulder has him grunting and shaking his head. "You'll be fine, Buck. Besides, kids do this. We'll go down together."
Bucky winces almost imperceptibly, his gaze moving through the park. Kids are everywhereβscreaming and laughing without a care in the worldβwhile parents converse with other parents as they watch their kids go down the hill.
Then he spots Bobβwho somehow convinced John to join him on the only other two-person sled they could findβclamber onto the plastic with the widest smile you've seen in weeks.
"Is that supposed to reassure me? You, the person that trips over air, steering a sled?"
Before you can respond, Ava suddenly calls out with a wave, "Hey! Barnes! Race you two to the bottom!" She hops on her sled before you or Bucky can even process.
Unfortunately for him, you're not about to lose.
Snatching the sled out of his hands to his bewilderment, you throw it to the ground and climb on before urging him to follow your lead.
He stands there for a second too long, glancing down at you before looking back at Ava who's already sliding forward to go down the hill. Reaching up and grabbing his gloved hand, you yank him down and force him to sit right behind you.
He barely has a moment to wrap his arms around you before the sled is moving, his legs spread around you in a miserable attempt to fit two grown adults on a child's sled. Cold air whips around you, freezing the tip of your nose, but it doesn't stop the laughter bubbling out when Bucky clings just a little bit tighter, pressing his chest into your back.
Ava successfully makes it down the hill first, much to your disappointment, and it only takes a second of you not watching where you're going before Bucky stiffens behind you.
Before you can blink, strong arms throw you to the side, forcing you into the snow just as the front of the sled rams into a tree with a sickening crunch. You groan, sitting up on your elbows. Your legs are still tangled with his before he quickly climbs off the sled and crawls closer to you.
With a gloved hand cupping your jaw, his blue eyes roam over you carefully, concern evident all over his face.
"Are you okay?" His tone is hushed and full of worry. "Are you hurt?" His other hand moves to your arm as he glances down; checking over your arms, your hands, your legs, before meeting your gaze once more.
"I'm fine, Bucky," you say with a short laugh. "Are you okay?"
"I'd say things can't get worse, but I'm here."
You smack him in the arm with a loud laugh, making Bucky grin.
Ava runs over, hair flying. "Are you two okay? Do you not look where you're going?"
The rest of the team joins you quickly, each one displaying various degrees of concern. Upon seeing that you're unharmed and Bucky's ego is just a little bruised, they all begin the trek back up the hill, leaving you and Bucky sitting alone in the snow.
"Remind me never to let you drive. Clearly you can't be trusted."
Your jaw drops, brows furrowing as you turn to look at him. "You think it's so easy to drive a sled? You steer then."
"That would involve me getting back on one, and that's not happening."
"Not even if I begged?"
Bucky stares at you, something twinkling in his eyes. "Wouldn't hurt to try, would it?"
You snort. "Fine, stay down here and sulk in the snow while I go have fun and try not to hit you on the way down." Ignoring his loud loud groan, you stand up and adjust your coat before turning to pick up the sledβonly to find Bucky's beaten you to it.
"What kind of team leader would I be if I let you put your life in dangerβ¦again? No more, I'm driving."
With a shake of your head and a silent gesture for him to lead the way, Bucky stands, squares his shoulders, and heads back up the hill for another race.
