Seing HOWLING playing live yesterday was just incredible!

As HOWLING's music is quite quiet and calm, I did not expext to see some kind of electro performance, yet it was a great live party music in a great venue Heimathafen Neukolln (Berlin). Really nice in building up!

Clubbing Time...

When you live in Berlin there is no worse or better time for clubbing. There is just right time.

After almost 4 years in Berlin I’ve been to many clubs, couple of festivals and concerts. The experience which Berlin offers you is so unique for me and I really doubt that there is any other place like this city.

However I never had an opportunity to go to Bar25, as I moved to Berlin in 2012 (Bar25 was closed in 2010). I came to know about the place because of the documentary about the club: Dokumentarfilm Bar25 – Tage außerhalb der Zeit. I watched it soon after moving to Berlin and it was great intro to the clubbing life I was just about to begin.

When Amok meets Peace...

...you will see (hear?) a real Masterpiece.

Atoms for Peace stole my heart in March 2013, when I first time heard the album Amok.

Absolutely brilliant electro music with a sensitive voice of Thom Yorke! Next to Radiohead singer Atoms for Peace comprises Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist), Nigel Godrich (Radiohead producer), Joey Waronker (Beck, R.E.M.) and Mauro Refosco (Forro in the Dark).

Their debut Amok, indeed amok in a way, somehow harmonic in the end. A place, where many instruments, many sounds, echos and effects meet the melting vocal, that you wouldn't even know about it. Absolutely matching lyrics:

A penny for your thoughts my love They’re spaghetti They possess me I’m trying to be a thought killer (Amok)
