This past weekend my beautiful wife gave me a wonderful trip full of surprises! Her sister flew in, then we travelled Bishop, CA for biking and climbing. While there we met with our good friends Al and Erin, and some new friends as well! Aubrey shuttled me on a high-mountain bike ride, and I got to climb the infamous Pratt's Crack! The Kona is almost race ready! After a complete overhaul I upgraded the brake pads & rotors, switched out the saddle to Brooks Cambium, installed lighter SPD pedals, and of course, new ESI Extra Chunky grips! GPS is handled by a Garmin Edge 820 Explore, I'll be running a single 25oz CamelBak Podium Chill water bottle, and I've taped most of my necessary gear to the bike frame.
