#also finished my second playthrough of RT recently #I don't think I've ever seen an rpg where difficulty takes such a nosedive before even reaching it's second half #you don't even have to build particularly fancy for most encounters past like mid-act 2 to just become completely trivial #and you can see the dev team struggling against this with more and more elaborate enemy encounters in DLCs #with Trazyn DLC especially it feels like they have identified that it is specifically extra turn mechanics that break stuff #what's with almost half of all new enemies and bosses trying to counter them in one way or another #aaaand in the same DLC they added a companion that boosts the efficiency of your extra turns even further #seriously I think it's Eogunn's addition specifically that took things from #'yeah the game could really use a difficulty bump in second half'#to a 'yeah the game's combat straight up doesn't function in its second half anymore'#like now it's entirely possible to finish most encounters before officially ending your first character's turn #and I guess it's kinda inevitable in the game that has this insanely granular of a character progression system #that makes synergy cascades almost unavoidable #but still I would love to see them try and do something about it if not for the fourth DLC then at least for Dark Heresy #warhammer 40000 #rogue trader #infinite museion

Just yesterday tried to batter my way back into some hobby projects by pulling a frenzied all-nighter on this fine lad:

Finally started for realsies on painting my Lumineth army, and have been, among other things, using them to practice working with contrast paints. Been trying to work out an efficient way to do orange-to-yellow gradient en masse, because the perspective of painting all those spearmen fills me with not a little bit of dread 😁

Also trying to pick up some of my long suffering writing WIPs back up - I can't let a TITD sequel of all things to come out before finishing my TITD-inspired fanfic 😅

O god, this is humongous. Not everyone, but 5 most finished of my characters. In loungewear because i can, and because i have a weird sense of humor. Drawn OC (Gandalf and hobbits):

Custodes Maximus as in unbearably tall, Helena is not in canonic colors, Fox and Christina in canonic colours, and navigator David not liking being here.

Next one should be everyone again, but in armour. Trying to buff myself for the journey.
