Mandatory intro post:
So I've been getting a lot of followers, and I thought now is the time to do an intro post.
I am not revealing my name, and I doubt I ever will until I find something good enough to fit as a name. Just refer to me by my blog name.
As you may have guessed from scrolling on my blog for about five seconds, I am non binary, and go by any pronouns that isn't he/him or she/her.
I am also autistic, and I don't have any other conditions that I am aware of (though I might also have ADHD).
I (unfortunately) live in TERF island (otherwise known as the UK).
I also am not revealing my AGAB, as I find that people make a lot of dismissive and/or incredibly negative opinions on someone based on their AGAB. Also I just do not feel comfortable revealing it.
I do not have a DNI list, as I think that those lists are masturbatory nonsense and do not help anything. If anything they paint a target on people's backs. Unless you're an asshole or any sort of "ist" or "phobic" you are welcome here.
I strongly oppose any ideology that puts people of a certain sex and/or gender on a pedestal and demonises other people that do not fit that sex and/or gender. This essentially means that radical feminism, incel stuff, TERFism, and others are very much against my viewpoints.
I am not a minor. However, minors can interact with this blog, so long as they don't message me directly.
Opinions:
I strongly think that we as a society should stop thinking of AGAB as the "end all be all". We are thankfully making progress in this area, but a lot of people still think that someone's AGAB determines their current gender and/or personality.
Anyone who hates men, women or anyone that doesn't fit those labels (e.g. nonbinary, agender, bigender, agenderflux etc) and think they are fundamentally wired to behave a certain way is missing the point of gendered oppression.
Non binary is not "woman-lite" or "man-lite".
There is no "male autism" and there is no "female autism". Trying to make a distinction between the genders when it comes to autism will just needlessly divide autistic people.
Discourse on this website is 90% utter stupidity and 10% actual important stuff.
In the same vein as the AGAB stuff, we need to stop thinking of gender in a binary way. No, an AMAB trans person taking hormones is not automatically transfem and an AFAB trans person taking hormones is not automatically transmasc.
Trans neutral people, like me, exist.
Anyway, that's the end of this intro post.
