Yes, I said what I said about the situation, but I also said if Jimin and Jungkook were doing these things together, there is the possibility of them NOT being in monogamous relationships with other people. Meaning, if Jimin was dating that woman back then while still acting the way he was with JK, and JK was still entertaining a woman in his apartment, only for them both to reunite and be as attached at the hip… it clearly means they mean something to each other.

Is fan service a possibility? Yes. Is it possible they’re both bad partners, using fan service as an excuse to experiment with each other despite having outside partners? Yes, but due to their behavior being a decade long at this point, the most likely scenario is they are or were not monogamous.

You can feel however you want to feel about Jimin and this entire situation, but I do not appreciate you adding my words into your post to insinuate I agree with you. You feeling let down or betrayed by Jimin regarding his personal relationships is your problem. You, and anyone else choosing to act like he lied because he dated a woman, is a you problem. I have always maintained we do not know the members personally, which is why even when I felt upset by them recently, I simply removed myself from this account for a bit.

They do not owe us shit, unfortunately even if it’s the more decent thing. However, Jimin has never implied he’s gay. Most people assumed as much given his flamboyant nature. What Jimin has loosely implied, is that he seemingly has an interest in gender fluid expression. What Jimin’s imagery during his portfolio implied, is that he’s bisexual. Meaning, him dating a woman while being interested in his best friend who happens to be a man, is not strange nor baiting.

All of that said, though, we don’t know him. We can’t be let down about his sexuality including women, because he’s never said he’s queer. That’s what shipping is. You think a person is one way, they either confirm it, confirm the opposite, or confirm neither. Anyone trying to present this as a gotcha or call him a bad person for being flamboyant and flirtatious with a man whilst dating a woman, are being hateful for no reason.

And to those comparing this to Taennie (not ssj7, but posts I saw in the tag), the difference here is that again, Jimin has implied queerness in more than just “he listens to gay artists” and “he knows/knew how to walk on heels”. Is Tae an open minded guy? I would assume so, seeing as he seemingly has no issues partying with presumably queer people. He seemingly has no problems with engaging with queerness within entertainment, but that does not means he’s implying he himself is queer.

So if we are to play this game of, “Jokers dragged Tae for having a girlfriend!” Let’s not start with y’all already trying to cheat. Jikookers pointing out Tae having a girlfriend is not a drag. People pointing out that Tkk has never done anything romantic nor sexually charged, on top of Tae having a girlfriend, is not a drag. Tkk the ship is built solely on the fact that Tae and JK know each other. Which is fine, shipping does not have to be serious, but Tkkrs do not actually care that they can ship them for fun. They do not care that there is no need to be constantly hateful or make up lies to further their ship.

Jikook’s situation is different, because despite both of them appearing to be interested in women, based on the information we currently have, they STILL WERE DOING SUSPICIOUS SHIT. Jungkook still sucked on Jimin’s ear. Jimin still gave Jungkook a hickey. Jungkook still got into bed with Jimin, hugged up on him and slapped his ass. They still throw themselves all over each other. They still chose to enlist and serve together when no other members did, even mildly. They still hopped a plane immediately after discharge and traveled together yet again, only this time in what appear to be much more romantic settings.

Jimin and Jungkook have years of “curious” behavior that led to people thinking they’re dating, and this new information would be the end of the conversation had their behavior changed between 2020/2022 to them not doing these things. It didn’t. They continued to be flirtatious and touchy, so unless you all want them to be nothing more than dickheads to women… does it not make more sense to assume they are probably not monosexual, and are either not monogamous or have/had yet to define their relationship with each other?

To the anon who asked me about it, I agree with you. He definitely was holding himself back, lol. Which I have seen a small number of reactors do when it comes to Jikook, and I honestly wish they’d say it like it is.

Obviously nothing wild, but when it’s presented in a way that we’d assume is sexual if it were a het pair, I wish more people would be outright with how it seems, because it’s not like it’s us viewers who are making stuff up. Almost all Jikook Moments videos are unedited, save for either added captions/context or zooming in, and people who don’t know BTS that well when they watch them tend to always throw a glance at the camera when certain moments pop up, and there is a reason for that lol!

So DT’s reaction (I’m pretty sure he has similar ones in older Jikook reaction videos he’s done) is totally par the course. He sees what the whole fandom saw and was confused about, because on the surface their interaction that day was very flirtation and sexual, lol. Even without DT catching that Jimin was the one who said he could handle JK without clothes on.

Explaining that whole conversation between them will get you the same reaction as the ear suck, the neck bite, GCFT, and the thirst trap birthday wish. Even Jimin flying from Paris to Korea for a few hours to celebrate JK’s birthday is sus, because who does that for a platonic friend they see day in and day out at work, while in the middle of their very rare weeks off for vacation?

Those four facts alone are more than enough to reasonably question their friendship, but to add in what comes across (without needing to analyzes anything) as a proposition for sex, using coded language because you’re streaming live to your fans, is a nail in the coffin. Of course that may be a wrong deduction, but none of us know that, and the only reason people push back on it is because they don’t think two same sex group mates could want to sleep with each other.

The only reason people keep saying it felt like we were intruding, is because of how long it went on and how JK basically ignored the fan chat to talk to Jimin. Now, I’m not going to pretend like people haven’t said “Third-wheel alert!” during other moments between members, but 1) Jikook get it the most, and 2) none of the other members have flirted with each other in such a focused way.

Why are people fighting for their lives to defend wrong-doings, just because it’s coming from their idols? Do people even realize that speaking up on a wrong behavior is a healthy mindset? As a mature person one should know how to distinguish between loving an idol for their talent, their effort, their art, etc.. and seeing said idol as a human too who can be right and can be wrong, who too can do mistakes. 

People automatically link that to being a hater or an anti like.. No? Because all in all you and i both know that if it was any other person who did the same exact thing people won’t hold back from pointing it out or speaking up about it. 

My take on people who fight hard to defend the wrong is : 1/ They believe that wrong is right which.. sucks to be them. 2/ Are afraid to lose credibility in front of their followers so they gotta agree with the mass (who are wrong by the way) 3/ Are genuinely that fucking dense and think idols are some type of Gods or whatever who never make mistakes. 

And honestly 1 and 3 are still far better than 2. 2 for me.. If you’re a big account and are able to stand tall with your reasonable opinion that follows a certain logic, not caring about people unfollowing for that and maybe enlighten some more loyal followers or curious followers, or confused followers, then why not do that? Because honestly if you choose to omit the truth or stay neutral or whatever just because of your big following, hate to break it to you but you’re a clout chaser.

Among Jimin's gruesome practice sessions and strict work ethics leading up to Face promotions, we were given a peak into a few moments out of Jungkook's visit on day 2.

What struck me (and even k-armys) is that they didn't even bother to pretend to be formal in front of the staff and camera + crew, which just goes to show how long gone are their age barriers in communication and behavior. Once again I know we are all well aware of this development between them, however it is still a bit surprising seeing that happen in front of strangers- especially at their workplace and during work, which is a formal setting. The significance of this may appear minimal to you but in Korean culture, the way you talk to someone but also what you discuss and how you phrase it is highly influenced by the age hierarchy. Allowing someone speak to you informally (even in the public or formal settings) means they now have the same rank as you and their word is thus referred to/significant on the same level as yours and they can express things way more directly. In a highly hierarchical culture with a strong respect for authority (or anyone above) this presents a disruption in an embedded way of thought and behavior that is in the minds of all Koreans from the very early age. 반말 (banmal) of course does happen among many people even those who are not 친구 (friends- meaning people born in the same year) but it is not something that is just expected automatically and in any social setting. (I am excluding family ties here)

Thus, what the international audience may see and perceive only reading the translated subs:

"Ah cool, Jungkook came and supported Jimin"

What the Korean audience (or anyone with just a little knowledge of the language and culture) sees and perceives:

"Oh wow they are speaking informally so naturally to each other, they seem so close"

JK: "I'll cheer for/ support (you)"

(*said in a form that implies promise to someone for the future, informal tone)

JM: "Come again"

(*said as an informal command or request)

Other fav moments:

JK: "Noo, do it once (for me)!"

(*주다 on its own means to give, gift someone something; in combination with other verbs like 하다 (to do) it implies doing something for someone; the most accurate but weird way in English to translate would be: "give a doing" Here Jungkook commands/requests Jimin to do the dance for him in an informal tone which sounds veeery casual, especially considering the dancers nearby 🫣)

JK: "It's awesome/ You're awesome"

(*Again informal tone, the pronouns are not stated therefore both you/it could be inserted)

JK: "Will be cheering (for you), myself"

(Informal tone, said in a form that implies promise to someone for the future + Jungkook added 내가 at the end of the sentence to emphasize he personally will be cheering/supporting Jimin on. Reminder- Korean sentences don't need pronouns, therefore you can tell he used it for added emphasis)

All in all, Jungkook didn't use the formal level a single time besides when he was leaving and told Jimin + everyone else in the room to "take care" (수고하세요).

Finally, to anyone trying to use Jungkook's informal "nope" to Jimin's direct requests to get his ass over there more frequently probably didn't catch just how """seriously""" both of them were taking that convo, as you can see from Jungkook's smirk hidden under the mask ㅋㅋ

Also just how long were they teasing and saying bye to each other if there is a cut and suddenly Jungkook is standing on the other side, still saying bye and holding hands with Jimin? 😆
