What Lynn Loves

This is a last week selfie.

I used NYX Intense Butter Gloss - Black Cherry Tart for a more dramatic effect. It pretty much stayed on for the majority of the day.

NYX Cosmetics Eden put me on! I swear by this stuff now. I apply it with my fingertips followed by a Too Faced bronzer that smells like chocolate. It doesn’t leave my face oily. It looks natural from the time I apply it in the mornings, which is probably 2-3 times a week, until I take it off at night.

I’ve been getting amazing compliments since switching from liquid foundation to the tinted moisturizer.

Had an amazing brunch at Matchbox where I scored a free drink from Shane because we had the same birthday. I spent time with family. Bonded with my brother over the Sox vs Yanks game.

Scored these pants from J.Crew 40% off sale. They were final sale but oh so worth it. Bcbg sandals for $30 from DSW.

Orange looks amazing against my dark skin. Last weekend was much better weather in the district. I was able to pull off this dress without a sweater. The sun was just as bright as my nails and outfit.

If you’re looking for an amazing salon in Georgetown that’s worth the expensive price, visit Toka Spa on Prospect Street. It’s on the same side as Zara. The customer service is amazing!

What I’m Wearing:

I've had a terrible three day weekend which has consisted of me crying basically since Thursday. I spent the majority of Valentine's Day alone. My sister practically forced herself into my house to make sure I was okay. 

I'm feeling a little better, although my mood swings are in full effect. I decided to play around on We Heart It in search for things that would currently make me happy. 

1. Coffee and pastries. Currently craving a flat white from Starbucks with an old fashioned donut. 

2. Pretty sweaters for 15 degree weather! 

3. Pastel coats to brighten up my cold life. 

4. A black or red pair of Hunter boots and colorful scarves. 

5. The last is my favorite. I'm picturing myself standing in melted snow stream somewhere in Vermont wearing pair of Sorels or LL Bean boots. Serene. 

If you haven't seen or heard, Lucky Mag has tapped into the e-commerce world by launching Lucky Shops, a digital and print combination editorial with the option to purchase, which opened to readers Monday. 

The items featured on the site has been chosen selectively by Eva Chen, Lucky's Editor-In-Chief, and her team. The site features and/or carries no more than about 1,000 items from about 200 brands. Lucky Shops doesn't plan on offering every single fashionable item like most e-commerce sites, which could be great for business.

As a huge Stan for Lucky Mag with dreams of becoming a Lucky Contributor, I've been stalking the site so far and I'm very much impressed and super excited about them venturing into another world. 

I hope they continue to grown in this already competitive e-commerce market. 

Fashion and I are clashing. I can't say it's my first love at the moment. I've been heavily into decor, interior design, and home makeover.

I'm in the process of revamping my room, again. I love my bed and twin closets. However, it's lacking something. I don't know what it is.
