Sorry.
It's probably obvious but I wanted to make it official
I miss this moron so much. But I have to be reasonable with how many blogs I have open at the same time while I'm in school again.
Don't think you've seen the last of me. The Void is eternal, after all <3

// take your time, sweetie! we love and miss you. school is so important and we understand!! we're here for whenever you need us, if that's just popping on to wind down or coming back once everything is settled. <333
<333 Thank you Dear. I really appreciate it. I know Iâve gone MIA on all but Jackâs account cause itâs too much effort to change accounts and I feel bad. But still. Thanks so much. <3333
Hey man, where'd you go?
Sorry Dear.
School is actually trying to kill me. Thatâs really the only explanation I have. Iâm sorry I went MIA. School, still trying to kill me. Hopefully next semester will be better.
Iâm gonna try to pretend to do things on here today but... honestly no promises I have an essay to write and I have a week to read 8 chapters and write the next essay.Â
All my best,
Iâm sorry again,
CollinÂ

How not to deal with midlife crises |Outsider/Corvo|
So very relieved that the Outsider chose to appear, instead of forcing Corvo search for him into the morning, he found himself unperturbed. It took him a few slow steps to approach him, standing below to look up at the perched young man.
âMmh. Still less trouble than you.â It was whispered in good nature, but Corvo couldnât help the look of honest remorse. The whole fiasco had made the newly appointed Spymaster, and Lord Protector to the new empress, look like a royal idiot. He knew it was really no oneâs fault but his own, and he had made the Outsider suffer through it with him.
âSorry. For the rough morning. Real mess.â Itâd be nice if he could say more. Perhaps to dissuade his constant commentary. As it were he was already pushing it. Instead, he opted to scratch idly at his jaw, eyes sweeping the empty courtyard a moment before continuing.
âForgive me? Join me inside. Try to make it up to you.â The least he could do was find him a decent pair of clothes. Attend to the basic needs Corvo had overlooked. Show the Outsider the hospitality he deserved as his honoured guest.
The young man tilted his head slightly. Heâd been honestly expecting to be told to shut up. Or something equivalent. To be told to stop talking. To stop acting as though he still contained eons and cosmos in his head. Yet, as usual, Corvo surprised him.Â
He jumped off the wall, not realizing until he hit the ground how much his feet hurt. Heâd run from the prison here in bare feet. Perhaps heâd forgotten how delicate human feet were. His feet had not concerned him before in his existence. What an odd sensation. He didnât prefer it.
âYou are hurting yourself trying to communicate with him. This wonât work for a year. My dear Corvo, you will have to think of another plan.â Perhaps the man wasnât hurting. The Outsider would admit he couldn'tât tell. There was no blood and without blood it was very difficult to tell with human senses.
He looked up toward the Tower. Heâd been inside a million times. But never in a proper form. Never physically. Would it be different now? Coldridge had been different in some ways.Â
âLet us go inside. Perhaps I will visit young Emily...â The Outsider started toward the Tower without waiting for Corvo. Curiosity driving his pained steps. When heâd ran heâd not noticed. It was âadrenalineâ. He knew that. He didnât know why Corvoâs good natured jab had made his chest do funny things. As though there was too much air inside it.
I donât know if Iâm still in time, but this is my entry for the #drawDishonored art contest. <3
Daud: Who are you?
Corvo: You really want to know?
Daud: Yes!
Corvo: You killed my lover!
Daud: ...do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?
How not to deal with midlife crises |Outsider/Corvo|
Even if it was The Outsiderâs fault in the first place for giving reason to the manâs suggestion, Corvo was glad it was also his fault he didnât have to respond to said criticism. Instead the moment the Wall Of Light shut down a second time Corvo was off as well, though he may have had to shove past the guard closest to him to accomplish such. Not hard enough to knock the man over, but it gained him a few moments to get ahead in his shock.
âStay. Iâve gotâim.â He rasped as loudly as he could before he was too far away to be heard. It seemed they weighed their options wisely and didnât intend to follow past a few concerned steps, watching the Lord Protector disappear into the alleyways after the mysterious young prisoner.
Though his initial sprint had been rather fervorous to put up a convincing show, he began to slow down once they were out of sight. Or at least until he realised the Outsider had not slowed down. That he couldnât even see him. He had to be up ahead somewhere, there werenât many other options. Corvo felt a tug of panic, but didnât bother moving faster than a light jog as he searched for him. It wasnât like he could go anywhere else, after all.
Unable to shout, though he did attempt hissing âOutsiderâ as loud as he could a few times, he tried letting out a few low whistles like the one he used to get the guards attention. It was a tiresome thing to be stuck doing when they were so close to home, almost able to end the far-too-long night. Where could he have even gone to?
Corvo ended up in the middle of the lower courtyard, alone and glaring over the area he could see.
In the prison it had been impossible to tell the time. Out here, in the alleyways of Dunwall, even the short distance to the Tower, he could see it. And smell it. Early morning. The sky grey and just starting to think of becoming light. The stars still shining brightly against between the clouds. Dew on the ground. Not a light on in any window. The hush of the sea a distant call that could be heard only because the city slept. Dawn. A twilight hour. Fitting for the ritual though not a requirement.
The Outsider, smirked down toward Corvo. He could have kept running. Only choosing to stop because heâd found this low wall. Because the sky spoke of magic. Because Corvo had gone through all of the trouble to bring him here and losing the man now just because he couldnât keep up would be a shame.
âHello Corvo. So good of you to finally arrive.â
The young man sat on the stone. Rags hanging off of him and making his already thin frame appear ever more frail. The coat so unceremoniously thrown on him still hanging open, and like the rags, it showed the difference in the height and the width between the two men. Bare feet pointed down slightly. As if remembering floating more than sitting or standing.
âDid the guards give you trouble. After my escape. What a shame the Lord Protector and Spymaster didnât think to restrain the prisoner. I do hope Empress Emily is safe.â
I fell in love with being defiant.

How not to deal with midlife crises |Outsider/Corvo|
Corvo didnât particularly fancy bossing people around. Using his status to overpower others. Only made worse since he could barely speak to being with. But it would probably get them out of there. How to command someone using single wordsâ
Torn from his desperate reeling over trying to come up with a better excuse he tried to ignore the otherâs attempts, thinking The Outsider merely wanted to be let go. So he could antagonise the guards again? Not a chance. Though Corvo ended up letting go of his arm anyway, first to push away the offending elbow, then to pat his own pockets as if he were looking for the forms.
âMustâa forgotten. Sendâum down tomorrow. Leave it for now.â For how pathetically he was scraping at improvisation, Corvo did a rather commendable job of keeping his features calm, and unaffected. Not a trace of guilt on them.
Though it was probably helping their case it didnât seem to impress Geoff, the man remaining firmly in his place before the pair.
The Outsider, to his own personal credit, did wait for Corvo to prove that he was competent. The young man stood still. Let the man holding his mouth shut try to diffuse the situation. When it seemed like nothing had happened, The Outsider took matters into his own hands.Â
Ducking from under the arm of the preoccupied Lord Protector the dark eyed boy did what heâd been so good at in his first life. He ran. The clothes he wore were too big but it didnât matter. All that mattered was getting past the Wall of Light. Running until he couldnât do so any longer. He would just keep going.
âShit!â The guard at the controls cursed. The Wall of Light turning on just as the prisoner passed the barrier. âOutsiderâs EYES. Sorry Lord Attano. Couldn't catch him. Bastard's fast...â
Geoff dropped his hand at last, signalling for the wall to go back down. They had to go after him. This, this is why there are regulations in place. âMight I suggest restraining transferring prisoners next time? Sir.â
Roisin had the faint feeling of someone in her arms, if only for a moment before she found herself holding nothing but an armful of air as though the boy she was speaking to had never existed. For a moment she considered the idea that she may have finally lost it, that the shreds of sanity she clung to had finally slipped from her grasp just as the boy had. Maybe she had just been talking to air about parties and dreams and no one had really been there, just a trick of a fragile mind that had finally snapped.
No, she didnât really believe that, she knew who he was, it was as she had dismissed earlier as being too ridiculous, but she found it more plausible than her own mind making something so real. Her hand darted to her pocket brushing the rune; no she was sure of it now. A faint whisper reached her ears and she started to laugh, not loudly but quietly to herself as though enjoying a private joke.
Smiling brighter than she had for a while she practically skipped back to her hidden residence, it seemed the stories she had grown up with had been something more, and she had a party to prepare for.
There were at least two things which The Outsider was certain the young woman could not obtain on her own. Obtaining them for her, however, was easy. A matter of pulling together objects already swallowed by The Void and piecing them into something new. He could trap souls in object created by his own hands. A dress and a mask. Far easier.Â
The gifts were left in Roisinâs home. Laid across her bed as if she herself had put them down before wandering off for a while. It had taken him a week to create such things. Purple mostly. His own preference if heâd admit to such a thing. The design along the hem and neckline reminiscent of Morley. The intricate knot work stitched in silver. The mask, mostly silver though only because The Outsider got bored of even purple by the time the dress was created.Â
He watched, absently, as she found the objects. As she prepared for the party. How would young Ro react to the grandeur of a masked ball with the aristocracy of Dunwall?
How not to deal with midlife crises |Outsider/Corvo|
Corvo tried exceptionally hard not to look utterly shocked. By the voidâwhich he had almost spat out in response if his voice hadnât given out altogetherâ had he actually just said that aloud? It seemed so as the guardâs face turned an angry red. Even if Corvo had had something to say that may right the situation, he wasnât close enough to the guard for him to hear it over the electricity. The wind. The Outsiderâs insistent talking.
So Corvo did what he could. Not necessarily what he wanted to do, but what else could he have done? A hand shot up to cover The Outsiderâs mouth, the entire lower half of his face actually, as Corvo yanked him back to hold him in place. The other hand grabbed his elbow through the coat, marching him forward again. Though the original pull was a bit rough, he held him rather gently. Though his grasp would instantly tense if he began to resist.
Corvo let out a sharp whistle, successfully cutting off whatever tirade was about to leave the bristling manâs mouth. He gave him his most stern Lord Protector Face and jabbed a finger towards the Wall Of Light. Which he had to release The Outsiderâs arm for just a moment to do so, he signed <Off.> then quickly grabbed him again.
Not that Corvo thought he could understand the gesture. But it seemed he wasnât quite as lacking as he was being accused of as he understood enough to call to the man sitting next to the panel. A turn of the lever and the electrical currents broke and disappeared.
âLord Attano.â The only two polite words he spoke, the rest spat in poorly restrained spite, âYouâre taking that trash the wrong way. Wouldâa left him in there, talking shit like that.â
âTransfer.â Any soft syllables and vowels were completely lost by this point, having spoken so much to The Outsider his voice struggled to keep up, âNeeds medical. Tâs personal.â He would have looked a little embarrassed if he wasnât so busy looking intimidating.
âWhat a waste.â He snorted and held out an open palm, not bothering to question further, âApologies, sir, Iâll just look at the release papers and you can be on your way.â
Shit. Corvo stared blankly at the hand.
The Outsiderâs lips, which had become a definite line of displeasure, turned upwards once more. Dark eyes, trying to look up at Corvo. What now, Lord Protector? Did you perhaps not think this through? As you had thought through so little?
It would be entertaining to watch, certainly. But then, from his peripheral, he saw the man at the controls stand. Noticed the sword on his hip. And recalled the most important piece of information regarding where he currently was: he was human. Mortal. Vulnerable. If this became a fight, out of all the men here, he would certainly be the one to loose. Yes, he could return to The Void when he wished. Shed this form. And not be able to come back until the ritual was performed again.
The smirk faded away. Eyes glancing at the Wall of Light. The currently shut off Wall of Light. The Corvo if you wouldnât hold his arm he could escape and youâd have an excuse to run after him Wall of Light.
The young man used his free elbow to jab the Lord Protector. Trying to go unnoticed. Trying to signal him.Â
The guardâs eyes narrowed slightly. âSir? The papers?â
The other guard, up by the controls, huffed. âGeoff. If Lord Attano says itâs a transfer just let him through.â
Geoff did not retract his hand. Suspicion from the time of the Rat Plague infecting his mind swiftly. Was Corvo Attano REALLY innocent of all charges? âThere are regulations. Lord Attano... Please.â
if u wanna ship with me u gotta be ready for kinky smut and heartbreaking tragedy
How not to deal with midlife crises |Outsider/Corvo|
"Youâre free to leave when you want.â Though he rasped the words, his expression was that of disappointment. He hadnât gone through all the trouble for no reason. And it was a lot of trouble to go through. But he didnât aim to trap The Outsider there, nor would he let him hold it over his head. So he found himself continuing, âMight be easier to carry out a corpse. Talk less.â They disappeared again after his last word.
When the world settled, much darker than where they had been previously standing, Corvo was quick to release the younger man, duck out of his hold, and guide him to begin walking forward with a hand on his back. The were just through the main doorsâ the guard stationed there staring blankly in the other direction having not heard them appear.
The Outsider didnât give him enough credit. Corvo had put some semblance of thought into their plan. Prime example; making sure to enter the prison just before the shift change for the bridge. It wouldnât mean the Lord Protector walking out of the prison with a particularly scruffy looking young man wouldnât raise suspicion, but at least it wasnât the same person who had seen him enter alone.
The Wall of Light blocking the archway was their final obstacle. It crackled threateningly as they approached, and the guard beside it gave a glare to match while he eyed the stranger beside the Lord Protector.
The Outsider had things to say. Cryptic and sarcastic things. It was as if the world had gone upside down. Rather than him making minds reel, him being the one to cut short responses and reactions, it was Corvo Attano. The Outsider barely having his footing again before he was being guided forward, arms falling dumbly to his side.
He did not like it. This was not the way of the world. Once, when he was brought to human life once more it was to be worshiped. It was in a dim chamber with a single priest who gave him what he needed to adjust to the disorientation of no longer being one with the Void.Â
Corvo was making this up as he went it seemed. A whirlwind of words and choices and actions that left the deity's head spinning.
And then. There. What Corvo ought to have feared. A guard was staring at The Outsider. Glaring more like. Suspicious of the young man whom the Lord Protector was guiding out of the prison. The young man in the Lord Protectorâs coat never the less.
Dark eyes glimmered with mischief. Lips curling in an all-knowing smirk. Never breaking eye contact with the man even as he addressed Corvo. âI wonder, do all guards here have such a vacant look? Tell me, Corvo, do you use the mentally retarded to guard prisoners. Or is this man alone in that unfortunate trait?â
