I’m going to be a lot less active for the next six weeks (June 15th through August 7th). I’m going to be staffing a sleep-away summer camp and won’t be on my phone around the campers—at least, not for any reasons aside from using it in tandem with my insulin pump.

I’ll have either five or six days off, one each week, and on those days I’ll be working on things to get ready for the fall semester, and I’ll be trying to bolster my queue so I don’t just fully disappear for a month and a half.

Just please know that I’m not ignoring you if you don’t get a reply to a message or an ask or a thread. Most likely I won’t have seen it yet, or the thread/ask is in my drafts and/or the queue.

I admit, I'm not quite as tapped into the pulse of RP as I used to be. I do not often chance upon storylines very often, at this point in my roleplay life. Generally speaking, invested from a reader's point of view? I find characters with a depth of emotion and nuanced perspectives compelling. I enjoy some good action sequences, I enjoy seeing a character change because of a storyline, growing as a character, even if it's in a problematic direction. I enjoy strong banter, too. As for what gets me invested in a storyline as a participant? Just asking me gets me involved. Having a place for my character to fit into it is always a plus. I'm always happy to be a helpful NPC, too.

So, I’m going to be a bit slower than usual for the next couple months or so.
