Hello everyone! wetheweirdestkidz blog is back!

That was some kind of a hiatus from Tumblr. and I miss the site so much. I miss writing and drawing and basically everything. I miss blog life. School and Uni life stole it from me. But now, I am trying to be back and will try to post from time to time.

The Vamps: A Vampette’s Dream Coming True

THE VAMPS TO CEBU JANUARY 31 2016

I think PCD is real. Last night, I really had to try hard to fall asleep because all I can do was imagine the crowd's noise while I became deaf, me shouting and losing my voice (I got it back the next day though but with a rasp - Yes Brad and I have the same voice now). The hype was surreal. Seeing them was surreal. Everything seemed unreachable until I was there, in that moment.

I saw James first. My mind did not register anything but it told me, "Scream!" I did. A few seconds after, I spotted Tristan. I kept screaming. Only when the mall show was halfway over did I realize, "OMG IT IS THEM. I SAW THEM." I was struck.

4. Rest Your Love - One of my favorite parts of the show. Nearing the end of the song, the power failed and the “concert” stopped. Tristan threw his drumsticks. James threw guitar picks, Brad cam close to the crowd, thinking that the show may have ended. They even left the stage! We were all down and sad and we all shouted, “WE WANT MORE!” repeatedly. Then, a crew asked, “So guys, we would like to get a favor from you. Tristan needs his drumsticks to play... Would you help us get it back?” AND YES YES!

From songs 1-4, I was able to sing all those. But when Brad came alone up the stage and grabbed this guitar and started plucking. I knew something wasn't right... One of my favorite songs off the album "Wake Up" is going to be played. During "Million Words" I practically shut up and stopped singing. IT WAS THAT NOSTALGIC and MESMERIZING.

I don't know what part during the show when he looked my way and wave. Well, it may have been our group there in the front row but he smiled and wave. Guess that was enough.

I will never (probably) get over the fact that I saw and heard them live. You will think I am overreacting and I get that. It may seem absurd especially that I am a Christian and that we don't do idolatry. Well, this isn't idolatry. It's me using these 3/4 lads of The Vamps to bring me closer to God. Through them, I was able to get through depression. Listening to songs by bands and being this "fangirl" who in my best friend's words, "the girl with all the songs, who knows all songs." made me live through every struggle I am facing and I was faced.

Message to fellow fangirls: I may not have met Taylor Swift (fan since 2007) or One Direction (since 2013 but actually late December 2012), but meeting at least one of your idols is a blessing. I have been a fan of The Vamps since 2013 of April together with Before You Exit because I searched both of them. The Vamps followed me on November 24, 2015. I also did not expect that. And now... I SAW AND HEARD THEM LIVE. It’s unbelievable how dreams come true. I guess I can say now that DON’T EVER GIVE UP. KEEP BELIEVING BECAUSE DREAMS TO COME TRUE. I guess all you ever have to do is be patient no matter what happens. (I’m hoping to see The Tide and Before You Exit too because I wasn’t able to go to 3LOGYMNL). Anyways, stay where you are do not attempt anything stupid. Because it’s true: BANDS SAVE LIVES.

THANK YOU THE VAMPS! I will always be here to support you guys. I LOVE YOU! Please fulfill your promise because I heard that, “We will come back next year.” and “Philippines is the best crowd.”

P.S. Connor Ball was injured so I only saw 3/4. I could have gotten that water bottle but I didn’t want to start a fight so who cares? I would rather much get that last name ;)
