I think it's been fading quickly since COVID and since Doordash. I will miss it. Nobody will weep for stomp clap or for the girls in stupid little flat brimmed trilby hats or for the waxed mustaches or the mustache finger tattoos or even for the thick rimmed glasses that dominated style up until just recently... I'm sorry I try to be a good ally but it's just so hard to tell what's going to set y'all off I just ugh... this is like the 5th time I've been accused of antisemitism! Big empathy doesn't let you just say "this policy doesn't benefit me personally so I don't support it" so you are forced to construct plausible sounding fake arguments about how the policy impacts some group with good social cachet instead

Go to any local government meeting and you will see a majority of locals vehemently arguing that some proposed plan will negatively affect their quality of life and you can tell that nobody on the council cares at all until someone says it will also impact the disabled in some marginal way then all of a sudden the complaint deserves to be taken seriously and maybe the plan needs to be reconsidered
