Made some strawberry jam out of our homegrown strawberries and the strawberries we picked at the orchard. Made an extra jar as a housewarming gift for our friends. 🍓🥰

I got the recipe from a recipe book my husband bought me at the orchard. I added the cinnamon stick to the recipe as I like just a little bit of spice in jam ☺️☺️.

Ingredients:

1 quart strawberries

2 3/4-4 cups sugar (adjust to taste)

1 Cinnamon stick

The juice of half a lemon

Method:

Bring the strawberries and sugar to a slow boil. Stirring continuously with a wooden spoon.

Once boiling, add your cinnamon stick.

Let boil for 15 minutes stirring occasionally

Once the 15 minutes is up, take off heat and let cool.

Once cool, stir in the lemon juice and remove the cinnamon stick
