In Jurassic Park, one of the scenes that I believe impacted my life in a way I couldn't imagine then was when Dr. Alan Grant saw the Brachiosaurus for the first time.

Sam Neill's performance there, capture the amazement I had seeing that seemingly living, breathing dinosaur for the first time.

I can't imagine the amount of people who'm Sam Neill has inspired among his many roles.

Honestly i think he was quite good at differentiating between friendship and physical intimacy at first

But the longer the fwb situation continued, he caught romantic feelings eventually

At the start he still flirted with other girls since that’s just his personality, but slowly he grew somewhat loyal to you

^he started to feel weird while flirting with other people and also slowly didn’t experience the desire to flirt anymore, but he still told himself that he wasn’t falling for you

For a long time he couldn’t admit to himself that he was the one who would develop feelings first, his ego wouldn’t allow that

You could definitely feel the shift in his feelings towards you in the way he behaves in the bedroom

^you two initially decided on a few rules, for example no kissing during the act only before and after, no cuddling afterwards and more roughness than sensual intimacy

^he grew more gentle and started to compliment/ pr@ise you during it* but you knew something was different when he started to give you a thourough aftercare, like cleaning you, the bed, bringing you a drink and a snack and then hold you

He also can’t help but act on his jealousy/ possessiveness, he caught himself shooting guys sharp gazes over the room when they tried to flirt with you

His touches started to linger on your hip, waist or hand

He also started to increase casual touches like sitting a little too close so your knees ir thighs would brush against another or wrapping one arm around your shoulders

He accidentally called you pet names a few times and each time you corrected him he looked slightly disappointed for a split second before he schooled his face back into the usual grin

His breaking point was when you told him that of the ravenclaw boys had asked you out (you didn’t even want to go on that date but he didn’t know that ;)) so he confessed exactly that moment
