Wendigloo

This is the nudibranch that started it all for me! I sent a picture of them to a groupchat and then thought about how it really matched the aroace flag so so well and I knew this would be something really fun to do! AroAce is an identity that combines Aromanticism with Asexuality, two identities that exist as a spectrum of lack of romantic and sexual attraction. The colors on the flag (in descending order) represent community, love outside of conventions, wholeness, and the spectrum of aroace identites (both shades of blue).

This nudibranch comes in a lot of brilliant colors, similar to the colors of the progress pride flag!

The Progress pride flag has the colors of the original rainbow flag, but also includes the triangle stripes for transgender identities (blue, pink and white), as well as people of color (black and brown), the black stripe also represents people living with HIV/AIDS.

The colors of this Nudibranch are orange/yellow and various shades of pink, a great match for the lesbian flag!

Lesbian is an identity that honors non male to non male attraction or women loving women. The colors of the flag represent (in descending order) Gender non-conformativity, community, unique relationships to womanhood, serenity and peace, and femininity! Lesbians have been such an important part of the history of Pride, specifically during the AIDS Epidemic when Lesbians were the forefront of caring for gay men with the illness and donating blood for transfusions and medical treatment, which is also why the L is listed first in the acronym!

Ceratosoma Amonea, also known as the Clown Nudibranch, are categorized by their distinct coloring as well as their anemoneic dorsal fin. Their colors differ from the different habitats they live in, mostly Western Australia and New Zealand. They can reach up to 60mm in length! They are known to mostly eat sea sponges!
