We Must Go To See For Ourselves

I was like. . . wut? Danish Design Museum.

Some sunny days and swimming in the canal. Look at all these unfortunate people living in a welfare state in which 2/3rds of the populace work for the government. They look so... miserable and purposeless without decent and well-meaning corporations to drive productivity and innovation...

But I mean, look at these chairs!

Some great writing spots at local libraries. 

So, that might look like just a guy putting a bike on the back of a car, which it is. But the woman who called him owns the bike, and the guy is a taxi driver, and when he saw she had a bike, he just grabbed his bike rack out of his taxi, loaded up her bike, and off they went.

Then we hit up the Museum of Danish Design. Below, you can see some sweet album covers.

This is a room full of chairs. Kyla loves chairs. I like sitting in chairs. We have a lot in common.

Still, human weather brought out something we’d experienced before. Bugs.

Just hadn’t taken a pic of these lovely beasts in a while.

Our campsite was on a harbor that night. Little did we know, it would be our last night camping.

We had the whole place to ourselves.

And a little clubhouse to hang out in.

We even grilled some burgs. 

The next morning we hit the road in order to catch an unexpected ferry.

I mean, look how cute it is. Turns out, it’s a historic monument. 

Mostly built of wood.

This was our campsite on Aero. Super beautiful, with clear water to swim in. And a little jetty.

This is a view looking out form a bridge in Svenborg

This is just some nice Antifa or (anti-fascist) stuff I found as we were leaving Flensburg. This stuff was all over the city. Not to get too political on you, but multiple GOP members in the US, have labeled Antifa a “terrorist organization” for their intolerance of white supremacists and their anti-nazi views.

(Above) We camped in the woods, but just to the left of this pick as a small trail that led to a beach.

Here’s that beach. I went out to the end of the jetty and jumped in, but could only stay in for a couple minutes (or less) it was so cold.

The next day we made for Aero. Aero is a small island, very much like one of the San Juan Islands. As you can see below, a whole chain of cyclists had the same idea. (Fun Fact No. 1: a large group of touring cyclists is called “a chain”). (Fun Fact No. 2: I just made that up).
