HII!!đđ I know you're on a semi-hiatus (so feel free to ignore this and reply whenever you want!), but I have a quick question! When did Aether fall in love with tlh? I thought maybe back while doing the Mondstadt quest he have not yet to trust her (â ăťâ ââ ăťâ )

For questions like this I may responde much faster than for requests of scenarios etc so don't worry !
I personaly think it was slow burn! (I'm a fan of slow burns đđŚ) Because in Mondstadt after saving Dvalin etc, he started to trust her enough to let her travel with him and Paimon (cough if he didn't he wouldn't have a choice in that anyway cough)
But after he meet Lumine for the first time after waking in Teyvat, he started to appreciate friendship with TLH and after everything in Inazuma he started to fall in love with her ( of course even as a friend he was protective over her too!)
Why in Inazuma the love just started to bloom? After Liyue quest and at the start of Inazuma Traveler seemed a bit more detached from everyone, they really showed that all they just wanted was to grab their sibling and leave Teyvat >.< And he wasn't very kin to help people of Inazuma at first tooâŚ
But even if he still did help people around, TLH!Reader wasn't really pushing him. Telling him to take a break and listened if he wanted to vent. I think that in the end her care of him and kind heart made him to slowly fall in love~
what do you think if reader looks like they have ability to notice something people don't? Example, something's wrong with rex lapis's dragon form but can't say or place it, sumeru's prison in dream, and voice in fontaine's water
Hm well I do made that TLH!Reader can see/notice certain things that others can't!
I do write TLH series with in mind of how to make certain game mechanics being part of TLH!Reader "abilities" ^^
Like we as players can read artefacts, so we for example knew that Dragonspine Durin wasn't evil being, just corrupted. Meanwhile everyone in Teyvat only knows he was an evil dragon. Or knowing about Bloodstained Knight(Roland) from almost the start of journey, while Aether heard about him for first time in Nod-Krai
And that message at the end of The Moon Gazing quest? Yep, TLH!Reader heard it but she can't even talk about it with Aether because he didn't heard that his message was received by dragons.
TLH!Reader understands Nicole very well but compared to angel she still can't talk about things she wants ^^"
I was going through Gorouâs hangout for some primos and in one of them you go with him to the shrine. And Mimi starts teasing by saying that most people who come in pairs come to see if they share a lifetime together. Following by saying things like the traveler holding and brushing Gorouâs tail. The ending leads to a tactical retreat because of how much sheâs flustering them. Now put in Travlerâs Helper instead and itâll be 10x worse.
I think I mentioned it in Gorou part of Inazuma cast xD
But yeah, Miko won't have any mercy lol

Seeing citlali and the traveler in the new event got me wondering, does tlh known About citlali having a thing for aether? and even said sometimes like "aww you two look cute" or maybe shipping them (i have a feeling she at first wanted to help citlali get close to aether but never actually do it cuz aether said he doesn't see her like that or something like that idk i'm bad With word)
and of course aether panic Abit cuz y'know (â ăťâ ââ ăťâ )(i'm curius how citlali Will react to tlh shipping her with aether and having to see aether Deny it with out even thinking lol)
Meanwhile paimon like: you notice citlali feeling for traveller but not the whole teyvat to you??
She knows Citlali likes Aether but she herself is not sure how far those feelings goes! (Citlali will never confess to TLH about her real feelings, whenever feeling of embarrassment or because of Aether feelings towards TLH)
TLH!Reader tried to bring Citlali and Aether together several times but after some time Aether got a bit annoyed at her and told that he is not interested in Citlali, then she stopped. (But she still may root for CitlaliâŚ. only making granny have mixed feelings.)
TLH!Reader: Paimon, what are you talking about? No one in Teyvat likes me it such way!
Paimon face palmed.
He wasn't expecting today to be anything eventful. Although he considered this somewhat a norm for him with the life he's living, Albedo still assumed it wouldn't be too much trouble. His guard is always up, and he's always aware of his surroundings even when he seems to be deep in thought.
But when he was in the middle of thanking you for letting him get a few books for his research, just before you had to close up for the night, Albedo did not have prior plans to pull out his gun and point it at you.
Let alone having to pull the trigger.
He had immediately caught you when your legs instantly gave out. He feels immense guilt for putting such a terrified look on your face, and for scaring you. But Albedo had no choice but to act first, or the man now dead on the pavement could've done way worst. Just a glimpse at a particular pin on the man's jacket was enough to tell him it was one of those ruthless fellas from an enemy group. The ones that don't mind disposing innocent people for their own gain.
"My apologies...I had no time to warn you...", he says sincerely. Tone soft and gentle as to not rattle you more than he already has.
He's quick to drape his coat over your shoulders, moving you away from the body a few feet behind you. He made sure you didn't even get a glimpse. He didn't want such a sight haunting you tonight or for however long it would've taken for you to get over it. Though he's sure it'll be awhile until you can get over this event any time soon either. Not to mention you might not be able to look at him the same ever again. He won't just be a regular customer to you anymore, he fears.
You were merely an innocent civilian, minding their own business. Something unsightly shouldn't taint your thoughts. And now he needs to make sure there are several men stationed around the bookstore, and perhaps your home, or general vicinity to ensure your safety. You were targeted once, Albedo can't let it happen again.
He watches carefully as you still trembled within his grasp, clutching his coat for dear life as he quickly gives out orders into his phone. He needed to report this to his higher up too, but he'll do that later. You were more important currently.
For now he had to ensure you were okay. Calm you down, and figure out how to explain why he had killed a man without hesitation. Being apart of the mafia isn't exactly news people would just accept so lightly...especially not after thinking they were about to get shot.
He really had to make it up to you big time. The last thing he wanted was for you to hate him. Not to mention, there also goes his chance to ask you out for coffee like he had originally planned...

A yawn left his lips, before propping his chin back onto his palm, sitting idly at the counter. His gaze move towards the huge glass window near the entrance door, raindrops pitter pattering adding to the gentle background music within the cafe.
It was a slow day, not many customers had came in. And the ones that did were only few and easy enough to handle. Perhaps only a few coffee refills every now and then. Adding more pastries when they felt peckish. Patrons were either enjoying some quiet time on their own, or working, or studying even.
Which immediately made Kunikuzushi's gaze return to the inside of the cafe, at a specific table near the back corner where it was quieter when it was a usual day. He can only think it's even more peaceful on days like this.
You were a regular there at the cafe, coming in on most days to grab your usual go-to drink. It's only on some occasions you'd order something else, or something stronger when you're busy studying. Like today.
You had came in just before the rain started, and Kunikuzushi had just started his shift an hour prior. He had already started on your drink before the order even came in. From the amount of books you were carrying, he guessed you were going to have another solo study session. And when your order came in, he had guessed it right.
It had been an hour and a half since then. And he was starting to get sleepy, not only from the cool rain outside but also lack of drinks he had to make. He even had his own cup of coffee next to him to keep him awake. Just as another yawn passed his lips, you had already stood from your seat moving towards the counter. Another drink ordered, and a couple of pastries before you went to the bathroom.
It was about time you took a break, he thought.
Two more hours passed, and the rain still hadn't let up. His boss didn't allow him to scroll on his phone during work hours, but apparently reading a book was fine. So he ended up reading something out of boredom, only stopping when someone came in to shield from the rain or those already there wanted another drink.
It was after he rang up another customer did his eyes catch your seated form once more. Unlike earlier, you seemed to be upset. A frown on your lips, brows furrowed and a hand now tousling your hair in no doubt frustration. Must have been a subject you didn't particularly like.
He gave the cafe a once over, Nahida had just went to the back to check on inventory and there wasn't much to do. A few aimless taps of his finger on the counter before a sigh left his lips, and he finds himself making another drink. Eyes glancing at you every now and then.

"I'll be taking these away..."
Your attention immediately shifted from your notes up to the low and quiet voice from your side. The usual barista you see on most days, had pointed towards the empty plates and cups from hours ago.
"O-Oh, of course. Thank you very much..."
You let him take the used plates and cups quietly, only to be confused when he had set down a freshly made hot beverage and a plate of your favourite pastry.
"I didn't order these..."
"It's on the house", he said simply, waving off the confused expression you gave him.
"Oh! Then can you thank your boss for me?"
He gave you a pointed look, for a second he almost seemed offended.
"Nahida went to the back awhile ago", he had scoffed.
You knew he can be a little um...rough...sometimes, but never really to a point customers ever complain about it. His service was always good too, never getting an order wrong and quick to attend to patrons even though he didn't look like it. But you couldn't help but feel he's just a tad bit upset right now.
"You got number four and nine wrong by the way", he had suddenly say before you could utter an apology.
"Huh?"
Your gaze immediately snapped down to your work sheet, reading back the questions. When you look back up, he was already walking towards the back.
"W-Wait...how did you..."
Another scoff, barely turning to look at you before he answered, "Social science students should be ashamed if they don't even know something that simple"
Instead of looking dumbfounded like he had assumed, you seem to perk up at his words. A hopeful look quickly taking over your face, "Um, I know I shouldn't bother you at work...b-but I've been having some trouble with this particular subject..."
Your voice grew quieter with each word. Perhaps you're realizing it was a silly request to ask from someone you barely knew. Sure you came by often, but you two didn't quite talk as often as you do with Nahida...
"So you do know better"
Your shoulders immediately slump at his words. Taking it as a 'no', and dreading having to read through your book again when you still didn't get it the several attempts before.
"My break is in an hour. Think you can survive that long?"
Now he gets the baffled look from you.
"Y-Yes! Absolutely! Thank you so much!"
"Mm, no big deal", he tried to wave it off, about to continue his way to the back.
"I mean it! A-And the coffee and treats too! Sorry I thought it was from Nahida... Um, you're Kunikuzushi right?"
"...Yeah yeah, whatever. I said it wasn't a big deal, so pipe it"
He quickly moved to the kitchen before you could say anything more. And was it just you or did you see his ears turn red just now??

After helping Eggie send message into the vast space and saying goodbye to her, Columbina suggested for your group to explore the Moon to your heart's content.
After grabbing some chests and finding some secrets left by Dragons you decided for a short break.Â
Aether sat down while watching you jumping around. You clearly enjoyed the gravity on The Frost Moon. Meanwhile Paimon was still full of energy so she went with Columbina to play with black Kuuhenkis.
So now there were only two of you.
You slowly fell onto the ground, while watching the planet in front of you.
-âItâs⌠so beautiful.â you sighed, amazed by the view. Aether nodded, not being able to take his eyes from your form.
-âTeyvatâŚthis world is still cruel sometimes and yet so beautiful.â You turned around smiling at Aether. âThank you, for letting me see it.â The golden haired traveler blushed. Not being able to look into your eyes, he started to look at Maggie who was flying around in the distance.Â
-âI should be the one thanking you for taking care of me and Paimon in this journey.â Aether said, still avoiding eye contact with you. You only chuckled at that and turned towards Teyvat again, enjoying the view.
There was comfortable silence.
After some time Aether broke it.
-âYou know⌠even if this journey ends you⌠could stay with me⌠with us. Teyvat can become your home too.â
You turned again, looking at him.
-âStay⌠in Teyvat?â a sad smile appeared on your face. âI wonder if this is possibileâŚ. And I wonder⌠if I stay, will I still be me? â
Aether raised an eyebrow at that.
-âWhat do you mean by that?â
You came closer to him and sat by his side.
-âRight now Iâm âconnectedâ to you. Staying here and becoming part of this world will sever the âconnectionâ.
You looked at him, the smile wasnât reaching your eyes anymore..
-âBut what kind of consequences will there be? I may stop being able to understand you all or I will lose all my memories or both.â
-âEven if you stop understanding us, I and Paimon will teach you. And about memories, you can record them in some way! We know so many people who will gladly help us with it.â Aether grabbed your hand.
-âIt would be nice⌠but I wonder if you all will truly care about me, if you all will still like meâŚâ The last part you whispered but the Traveler heard it.
-âOf course we will, why wouldnât weâ.â He stopped himself, a certain realization gawin at him.Â
Is it possible that you think everyone likes you because of the âconnectionâ? That their feelings, their friendship towards you is not genuine?
Before he could ask you, you got up, letting go of his hand.
-âSorry, I let the mood down.â You scratch your head while forcing yourself to laugh. â Letâs go check on Paimon and Columbina!â You started to run towards Ungienâs circle, but Aether didnât follow you.
There was a certain fear appearing in his heart.

What if it made him and others to like you-
He shook his head.
No, he didnât like you immediately. It was after some time that he started to see you as a friend and then as someone even more important.
He doesn't want to believe that his emotions would be tampered by something that brought you here.
No, he wonât accept it.
Aether got up and started to run after you.
He is sure that his and others' feelings are real and he will do anything to prove that to you.
After defeating Dottore... for the 2nd time and burning Irminsul, mixed feelings filled your heart and mind.Â
While everyone was preparing to infiltrate Sumeru City, you unexpectedly heard a conversation between The Doctor and The Regrator. So compared to others you knew Pantalone was the one helping Dottore with everything.Â
And like always, you couldn't say a word about it. Â
You also learned what happened to the real Zandik.
You can't help but feel bad about him... The same goes for an 8 years old Segment.
It would be a lie if you said you didn't get curious about his past. What happened for him to lose empathy at the age of 8 years old? What kind of person was he at the age of 85? So many questions and youâre not sure if you will be able to find answers to them.
The Segments can't change their views and feelings, they can't "grow" and this is why Nahida couldn't forgive him like she did with Scaramouche.
You wonât forgive Dottore for all the cruel things he did as well, he canât even feel remorse. Yet you wonder if Zandik was still alive would he be opposed to those experiments of Dottore ?
You let out a sigh.
In your hands you held Marrow that was found in the burned Irminsul.
You got another glimpse of Dottore's past and even information about his "patients", Pantalone... or you may call him Feofan being one of them.
It was surprising to learn that he has lived as a human for such a long time. And you're a bit worried about his condition.Â
Worried?
Why are you feeling worried about him?Â
Maybe it's because of your curiosity? After all, you want to learn as much as you can about all Harbingers and people you meet on your travels.
Or maybe there is another reason?
You shook your head and got up from the bed you were sitting on.
You went to the kitchen in Serenitea Pot to prepare some tea. While you waited for water to boil, your thoughts wandered now to the dream you had.
Another of those dreams.Â
And the worst part was to see that something will happen to Paimon.
The worry is growing in your heart with each day because you know that soon Aether will be ready to go to Sheneynazha.
You felt a small hand touching your shoulder. Turning around you saw Paimon looking at you with a worried expression.
-"(Y/n)? Are you alright? Paimon was calling you all this time..."
-"Huh? Really? Sorry! I got lost in my thoughts!"
-"Is that so? Lately you look sad... You know you can tell Paimon everything, right? I will do my best to help you!"
-"I know⌠after all you're the best companion ever! " You hugged her close and suddenly started to tickle her.
-"Noo!! Don't-! Paimon started to laugh and you joined her.Â
After some struggle Paimon managed to free herself from your grasp.
-âI... huff⌠told you... huff.. to not do that!" She stomped her feet in the air and pouted. You chuckled at that.
-âSorry I couldn't stop myself. Please accept this small offering for forgivnes~" You take out the Rainbow Macarons and give it to Paimon. You could see stars in her eyes appear.
-"Alright! You're forgiven!" She took one cake and started to munch on it.
You couldnât help but smile. You took one macaron and started eating it too.Â
No matter what awaits your group in future, you will do as much as you can to protect everyone you cherish.Â
