so I know most if not all writers have joked about the "staring at a page for 3 hours and not writing a single word" thing but. is that an occasional thing for everyone or are a majority of your attempts to write like that? it happens to me most days. I legitimately can't get any words to stick. whatever continuation of the scene I have planned just remains this abstract concept that I can't define well enough to explain it. it feels like trying to paint something but you only have the wrong colours. some days are worse than others but for the most part it's still a huge struggle.

so is this the writer's curse, or do I just blame the autism for this too
