Oh, wondrous creature, with fur so fine, A monkey who loves, the game of thine, Whose nimble paws, doth grasp the ball, And send it flying, beyond the hall.

With every stroke, a grace divine, His body, moving, in perfect line, His eyes, alight, with focused glare, A master, of the sport, so rare.

And yet, the court, was not his fate, For monkeys, were not allowed, to date, But still, he played, with all his heart, A lover, of the game, from the start.

He dreamed, of matches, on grandest scale, Where monkeys, and men, could truly prevail, And though his dreams, may never come true, His love for tennis, will always renew.

For in the game, he found his soul, A passion, that made him, feel whole, And though he may, never win a crown, His love for tennis, will never drown.
