Because even though im not 100%,

We go back to the ones who wounded us because they were the ones who always made us happy even when they didn’t. We stuck by them through it all. Letting go is hard when you know that it’s not good for you but that’s what you want at the moment. There might be someone on the side that you have fallen for but you’re afraid to take the step with them, you’re afraid that they’ll hurt you the same way you got hurt by your ex. Maybe you’ve been in a relationship where you gave your all, and now that there’s someone new that you want to give the chance but don’t know how, you have nothing left to give. Times will get hard, you want to get close but at the same time you don’t because you don’t want to get attached and let the same thing happen to you again. Truth is you’re not ready for the same kind of pain but yet you’re still opening your wounds and keep digging in them for your ex/ girlfriend/ boyfriend. Why do you keep doing that to yourself? Why do you keep digging into your wounds, while there’s a person right there with a bandage but everytime they give it to you, all you do is take off the bandage and dig deeper. Why?

Look at it in that person who’s willing to give you everything even if you’re still with that person who gave you the wounds.

Why do we always go back to the ones who wounded us?

Why do we always close ourselves for new opportunities?
