Will Solace was more like a lankycat stretched out in the sunshine

I’ve seen people saying that they can have growth spurts and got taller, but they might as well don’t have that kind of a growth since they’re probably malnourished (from both their stories)

Will receives a birthday gift that isn’t immediately clear what it is. It’s cylindrical, made of celestial bronze, hollow on the inside, and Will can faintly feel some enchantments on it. When he asks, the only response he gets is “you’ll see.”

After staring at it for a good hour or so, suddenly it hits him. He can’t believe he didn’t recognize it sooner. He picks up the object, and, realizing how it’s meant to work, summons his light powers and tries to focus them through it.

Sure enough, Will is now holding a perfectly functional lightsaber.
