She's hereeeee I sat on her reference for months due to art block. I couldn't decide which outfit to draw her in and in the end I went with her civilian outfit!

"move your gas tank, I can't see anything"

"your blaster is against my ribs"

"it's not a blaster, it's my leg"

but i do think lloyd has a very "martyr-esque" view of his own role as the green ninja. because he represents the sole connection of every living, breathing thing across all the merged lands, he comes to the conclusion that sacrificing his livelihood is necessary and that the consequences of that sacrifice fall solely on him

it's not actually that different from how morro and kai's mentalities of "it has to be me" or "it should have been me" deprived them of their greatest potential selves. and i think lloyd's version of this mentality exacerbated along his solitude during the first several years of the merge living by himself in the monastery

Yesterday, during the two-hour test, I started thinking about what Nelson, Antonia, Jake, and Unagami would look like in DR, or maybe just older...

I'm not very good at coming up with decent designs, but I still enjoyed drawing them

“What makes you think — I mean, how would you know—”

“You saw the evidence,” Jay says.

“So what! You found a hoodie no one’s seen before—”

“In Cole’s bedroom.”

“—in Cole’s bedroom. That doesn’t mean anything. That doesn’t mean he’s seeing — ugh —”

“He could’ve gone shopping,” Lloyd rationalizes. “He could’ve been doing that in the city. Maybe he went to visit his dad and that’s why he didn’t tell us.”

“I already checked with Lou. He hasn’t,” Zane informs them. “And as for shopping, that’s highly unlikely. If you take a closer look, you will see that this hoodie is extremely worn and aged with time.”

Nya tilts her head as she looks at it. “Second-hand store?” she suggests, though she doesn’t look very convinced.

“I already checked his credit card,” Pixal says with a blank stare, like she’s actually processing the information in real time. “He didn’t buy this hoodie anytime recently.”
