Johnny doesnât have all the answers, still so many things that will be in question if they do this. There will be a bunch of paperwork, and all the boring adult responsibilities to take care of. All that mattered would be if he was married to Peter. They would be his spouse, and he knows that deep down that makes him the luckiest man in the world.Â
That grin makes him mirror the same expression. âSince FOREVER I think. I just didnât know how to say it until now.â Johnny wishes that he had figured it out sooner, but they were here actually doing this. âYou love me? Youâre IN LOVE with me too?â He feels his hair light on fire, the blush obvious on his face. The flames are burning, and he turns them off soon as he relaxes, not wanting to start a fire. He has always been like that, quick to ignite when he was flustered.  Johnny kisses Peter back quickly after that though. âThis isnât a dream, and I canât wait to MARRY you today.â
âyeah, maybe i shouldâve told you sooner,â peter tries to sound light about it but maybe his hidden feelings for his best friend shouldnât be something he jokes about. âand it took me long enough to say it so donât burn the building down now.â heâs smiling as he blows on johnnyâs head before the flames turn off and just like that, theyâre kissing. peter smiles even wider at that.
as they pull away, peter tries to contain his smile. âso weâre doing this? right now? just like that? well---â a pause as he gives them both a once over. âmaybe--- maybe weâd need to put on clothes first.â right. he nods to himself and slides off the bed, stepping into his underwear as he speaks. âoh, and you havenât even told me about the honeymoon yet! and---am i taking your name or are you taking mine? though, i feel like thatâs antiquated. is that a thing people still do?â
