ASOIAFSNET OCTOBER EVENT

This month’s event theme is “Monsters and Men”. For this, you can create anything that you think fits the theme – whether it’s about creatures in the ASOIAF universe, parallels with real-world mythological beings, people being treated like monsters, the monster within, or whatever else you might come up with. It’s up to interpretation.

This is a month long event that will last from 1st October – 31st October 2022.

Create something ASOIAF-related (e.g. a gifset, fanart, fanfiction, etc.) that fits this month’s theme.

✧*:･ﾟ| WHILE he typically abhors violence, there's a time and a place for turning the other cheek. In this situation, he perhaps would have done so, if it weren't for their surroundings. Within a base like this, one had to be careful, and he's never once set foot within these metal halls before. Eyes look from the blue haired woman to the sprawl of stars past glass panels. Surely, her weaponry would not be enough to BREAK that! But what of delicate machinery within this ship?

GUIDELINES: Your creation(s) must, in some way, showcase at least one of your favorite supporting characters

Any kind of content is appreciated, whether it’s gifs, graphics, edits, moodboards, playlists, or even an essay/analysis. Essentially, you can create anything as long as it fits the theme: be creative!

You can make multiple creations, also feel free to showcase more than one character!

Reminder that our challenges are open to anyone, you don’t have to be a member of the network to participate.

In Prythian and Erilea, there are partnerships of legend — the unions that raised armies and changed worlds for the better. The royal family of Terrasen, the High Lord and Lady of Night, the army commander and the queen without a throne. Whispers of their love spread across continents and live on in time. But what about the loves not written in stone? What about the fleeting romances and the if-only-they-could-meets? What about those in-another-life couples who didn’t get their chance but could have changed the world?

For this event, the High Ladies ask you to share your favorite rarepairs and crackships. The couple can be canon or not, crossover or not, so long as they’re not a major couple in the tog or acotar universes.

✧*:･ﾟ| A quiet space station -- by far a more visually confusing location than the Horizon Lunar Colony, Siebren prays silently to himself that such feelings of confusion and discontent will pass in due time. After all, he's only just WOKEN up in this world - a television programme he has witnessed snippets of. Funny, he thinks, perhaps too BITTERLY. How I can grow more accustomed to being a character in a show than I can to the setting. But, upon wandering into a near empty cafeteria, he diverts his thoughts ELSEWHERE.

WELL, I could always seem as out of touch as this one …
