Princess Seran

#She always looks severe and that’s what makes her so beautiful! <3 #I wanted to do a portrait of her with the ruins of her motherland in the BG but it was too plain so I added the window #with draconic carvings (dragons and fire) for her father and then some water lilies and a crescent moon also for her mother.#This art is more or less her ‘uniform’ with her hair bound around her crown with jewelry. Black clothing. The eight pointed star necklace.#She’s also wearing the rings her husband gave her… a signet ring.. obsidian with diamonds… and the poison ring!#ONXY* ring #The hair jewelry is made of amethysts + rose quartz & pearls. #Happy Pride Month! 🌈#I apparently take a full year to make art of these two so I guess I’ll be back next year with another one. Until next time!#This is also a companion piece to my last art of them with the volcano. I love Fire and Water - Sun and Moon imagery.#Some artistic notes: Seran’s dragon embroidery on her bodice and earring with three pearls (her maternal sibling.) Kharenah’s lion pendant.#The olive branches to the left and temple statue of their nation’s Goddess. The crescent moon and sun meeting at sea.#(temple statue on the right because I forgot it in the text and I’m not redoing that)#Kharenah’s hair is a cooler white here and that’s because I wanted to do a moon - water theme here compared to her warmer white blonde #in the fire - sun themed art of them. Kharenah’s overcoat is based on the Schaube. I’ve been working on some more portraits for my WIP’s family tree and thought it would be a fun challenge to try a background with some dragons!

IT LOOKS SO GOOD BECAUSE OF IT.#about said earring: I used the same colors of Rem’s eyes for it because it seemed romantic and very fitting for them 🥰🥰🥰#then there’s the embroidery which I referenced from Egenolff's Modelbuch but with a dragon & wolf because OC lore & motifs!#anyway.
