So what bugs me today is crypto.

As someone very interested in tech and science and sci-fi for that matter, cryptocurrencies are an appealing topic. The one I’m most interested in is ETH for its possibilities not only as a currency but also for the smart contracts.

I got around to start out a few months ago (July ‘17) and got some minor cloud mining contracts and have also been mining on my desktop. Well, there a 2 cores on my processor sitting around idle most of the time so why not.

Now the downside to that whole mining business and especially the cloud mining contracts for someone environmentally conscious is the amount of electricity burned in proof-of-work mining.

Today I looked around for some proof-of-stake mining options and found some things. One of them looks interesting and I’ll be trying it out.

A proof-of-stake pool that pays out already? Sounds good.

They give you POOLtokens for mentioning them? Sounds great.

They have 45% of the electricity from solar? Sounds excellent.

Now, what about design? Well, you need to go to their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/POS-Mining-Co-StakePoolco-136398393631970/) to appreciate their logo in its Amazon-’95 glory.

Guys, can you *please* find a designer that will make you a 2017 logo in exchange for some tokens??? Oh, and while you’re at it, the headshots for the developers on the website? America’s most wanted?
