Been reading "la plaga de caparazón" by @quasar-crew (Kastaborous) on A03, and I couldn't stop thinking about poor Leon (SPOILERS) after his hysterical break in Chapter 4. How hard he disassociated when faced with his own reflection was gut-wrenching but I couldn't stop reading! I LOVE the story and I cannot wait to catch up on the reading.

That said- I HIGHLY recommend anyone interested to read the fic if they haven't yet, it's amazing!

The texture on his shell and gums is INCREDIBLE! Like holy shit! THE DETAIL IN THIS IS ASTOUNDING! The shading and the pose are perfect! Love his eyes too and the blood, along with the shattered mirror in the background! AGHHHHHHH SERIOUSLY THIS IS SO GOOD! WOW, I AM STUNNED!

one thing that doesn't get brought up in Soul Eater is that. Ragnarok used to be a human. well he was a weapon, but like, same as Tsubaki and Soul and Liz and Patty. Medusa fucking melted him down into black blood and injected him into Crona, who he is now permanently tethered to.

and like... his abuse of Crona is Not Good don't get me wrong but like, again, permanently tethered. if i completely lost my independence and became a glorified body part for someone else i might get a little frustrated with them, personally.

Sad that neither the Manga or Anime ever let Ragnarok talk about his relationship with Medusa, like was his abuse of Crona a way of attacking Medusa by proxy for what she did to him? Not that makes what he does to Crona okay by any stretch but it would deepen the character beyond being just an abusive bully.

Was he a willing test subject of the black blood experiment she was running?! Did Medusa trick him or use blackmail, whats the story of how she melted someone down into being just black blood and a soul and merged said being with her own child and did so without ANYONE KNOWING BEFORE MAKA AND SOUL ENCOUNTERED CRONA?!
