I think I have a pretty good idea of how Pierrot would act, but how do you think Harlequin would behave if MC had an ex that was still sniffing around and was very much disapproved of by them?

Harlequin only 'really' begins to care for MC once he gets to know them a little better. So, in the beginning, he will hate your significant other if they're a jerk but he won't necessarily be worried about you unless he can use that to his advantage:

"Oh? Sounds like there's a little trouble in paradise. How about you stay at my tent for awhile? Might be a bit 'cozy' with just the two of us, but we could have quite the evening together, dearest~"

However, once he starts to care for you (ie: enough to break into your apartment and follow you around the circus in Day2 of the game) then he will......see how this person is treating you.

He will tease the jerk with smarm, or make epic comebacks with his wit. So what if it results in the human punching him? Harlequin is used to pain, even prefers it, he might call your ex 'kinky' if he dares hurt the clown. But at least, he'd be hurting Harlequin instead of you.

That being said, Harlequin from that point on will ask you.....questions.

Like.....how you would feel if your ex disappeared one day?

Would you be happier? Sadder?

(I personally wouldn't wanna be in a romantic relationship with him but having him care about us even a little bit in a friendly way would melt my heart ngl ;;;;)

JESTER AND HIS HUMAN PET HEADCANONS!

(in this scenario, you are either with Pierrot or Harlequin or both and living in the circus)

---He gets less sleep because of you. Not because you're doing anything in particular, but because you haven't actually done anything at all. .....Yet. Jester often stays up, making excuses to visit you and your lover(s); he must be sure. It's routine. Just to check-in, he says, but in reality the leader is trying to make sure you haven't hurt his family. That you aren't planning anything or lighting a match where you shouldn't. Over time, Jester becomes more and more confused by you. All those late nights, enjoying each other's company, playing games and keeping your distance when needed. At some point, Jester cannot tell if you are plotting to escape, hurt them, or, worse off, that you're not planning anything nefarious at all. It's at this point where he cannot tell whether or not this is a good thing.

---Jester notices the little things you bring to the table, but the big things are appreciated. Not in a way where he'd verbally thank you, though perhaps he will tell Bil to go easier on you when it's your turn to clean the trailer. For you see, Jester notices all, and when he sees that Harlequin has less venom in his voice, Pierrot is suddenly much calmer and happier, Doctor seemingly finds you stimulating, and even Bil remarks on your neatness---then, the leader realizes just how much you've influenced things around here. And strangely enough, for the better.

---Affection does not come naturally to someone like Jester. Even when he feels it, deep in the pits of his wounded heart, he does not act upon it without a whip in hand and claws ready to scratch. But when he sees the way you and your lover(s) interact, you have him thinking about things.....differently. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to have someone who is there just for you. Someone who is more than a mere toy or casual fuck. You make him believe in love, though again, he will never tell you. Instead, you'll find Jester staring at you and your lover(s) from afar, imagining a world where he too could live that freely with someone one day.

---Jester doesn't mind it if you fight back a little, as long as you're not being ungrateful, unreasonable, or trying to take over. In fact, he finds your little objections to be 'cute' at times, even if ultimately you will do as you're tasked one way or another. Why? Because he sees the way you make Harlequin laugh, Pierrot smile, Doctor pat you on the head---though you've yet to win over Bil in this case who often interprets your rebellious attitude/critiques as sheer disrespect. It is then that Jester knows he must intervene and calm his dear old friend from potentially throttling you. Well.....after Jester amusingly watches you dig your own grave by arguing with the blue creature for a little while longer, that is.

Im not really sure if im liking the result. i used to draw like that on medibang, but brushes on krita make my eye twitch, so it can look a lil lazy, cuz ive been raging trying to set them damn brushes the way i wanted >:V but im not going back on medibang. our relationship is over
