...wtf is this??? I've realized what makes me sadder about this whole deal is the SHEER AMOUNT of homophobia I've seen online towards the byler community. Not just today, not just yesterday but EVER SINCE THE FIRST BYLER EVER BYLERED
I don't and I've never thought of them as "just a ship" because....it really isn't. Byler was and WILL STILL BE (despite how the duffers and all the ST writters have BUTCHERED it) a safe space for ALL queer people and it SUCKS it genuienly SUCKS that IN 2026 people (the GA) STILL YEARNNNN to take that away from us LIKE I'M SORRY BUT TO BE THIS HAPPY ABOUT A QUEER SHIP NOT HAPPENING (one that would've made SUDDEN PERFECT sense if will was a girl AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE) is actually disrespecful and...dare I say...homophobic...?

It's blatantly disrespecftul and I'm tired of seeing it time and time again.
To all my bylers: WE'RE ALLOWED TO BE UPSET, WE'RE ALLOWED TO CRY AND WE'RE ALLOWED TO FEEL THIS BETRAYAL--BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT IS: IT'S A BETRAYAL FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WATCH THE SHOW, FOR THE CHARACTERS INVOLVED AND OH MY GOD EVEN TOWARDS WHY YOU "CREATED" THE SHOW IN THE FIRST PLACE, DUFFER BROTHERS AT SOME POINT the "ship war" stopped being about how DECENT AND GOOD the writting and chemistry of the characters was, and instead turned into the GA dumping all their hate and HOMOPHOBIA (I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH OR HOW LITTLE HOMOPHOBIA: IT'S STILL HOMOPHOBIA) towards the outcasts that this show is SUPPOSED to speak to.
AND THE DUFFERS DECIDED TO FEED THE NARRATIVE THAT ALLOWS THAT
(Duffers should be so ashamed of what they've done. Queerbaiting for 10 years is WILD--LET ALONE IN 2026. THAT'S A CRIME). So yeah, I AM going to be mad and I AM going to be upset because despite of ALMOST EVERY POST AND COMMENT I'VE SEEN FROM THE STUPID GA: THIS IS QUEERBAITING AND IT IS SOMETHING THE AUDIENCE SHOULD BE MAD ABOUT, NOT ONLY BYLER SHIPPERS...and it baffles me that we can't see that.
