Being slightly alternative in a small town is not for the weak

i hate fandomization of inglorious basterds. i hate how shosanna is being left out or shipped with literal nazi, who was harrassing her an entire time. shosanna is the best character in this whole movie, she was the strongest person in the whole paris when she was sitting in the restaurant next to the man that killed her family. i hate how she is so underrated. how her relationship with marcel is overlooked. the fact you can't talk with anyone about the movie's most interesting interactions, because people can't look at characters in those scenes without feeling an urge to ship them (yeah im talking about you aldo x landa, landa x shoshanna freaks). landa (as a character, not a nazi before somebody decides to put some words in my mouth) is also disrespected in every way, he is so fucking good character and so well written and actually terrifying but he is getting stripped out of his spiteful charm for the sake of projections people force on him
