The humanâ Minerva was fairly sure it was a human at this pointâ made some sort of noise, and the dragon registered the familiar taste of iron on his tongue. Uh-oh. Dad usually told him to stop if he drew blood.
Something pressed against his forehead, and he growled, quickly forgetting about the blood and preparing to take an instinctual snap at it. Then he registered more movementâ something long and thin being waved about before him.Â
Removing his teeth from the girlâs hand, he lunged instead at the stick.
When the pressure was alleviated, Jodie pulled her injured hand back, holding it close to her body. With her other hand she flung the stick, just enough to give some space between her and the deino and a few moments to pull herself together.
Jodie then took a look at her hand. She tried to be optimistic, it didnât look that bad. Her hand wasnât broken, and no major veins had been hit. While It hurt like the dickens, she would be fine (probably) once she bandaged herself up and the bleeding stopped. As long as the pokemon wasnât diseased....
She took a cautious look at the deino and grimaced. âDo you have a trainer?â She asked Minerva, unsure she would get a response.
