Kells wasn’t entirely sure what world they were currently in, or if it had even changed since they’d last went to sleep. Never straying far from first river they could find, they’d seen quite a few exotic animals, though none seemed to want to stick around long enough to even give them the time of day.

As they wondered whether they should just make camp and wait for their next shift, Kells heard the sound of distant footsteps trudging through the underbrush. Maybe I’ll have better luck with this one, they hoped, scrambling up the riverbank– and discovered not just another strange beast, but a person (the ears said “human,” but the hair said “elven”) traveling alongside it. Not unheard of, of course, but very unusual. In any case, maybe these two could provide them with some guidance.

The sight of the lone Litwick wouldn’t have surprised most people, but to Cheren, it was positively alarming. So much so, in fact, that he found himself taking leave of all his dignity and jumping into the arms of the one standing nearest to him.

[”I’m supposed to be...checking on you checking on the baby, so says Cheren.”] Noir stated, blinking in from who knows where.

All it took was one misplaced foot in the world of extreme tree climbing to really flip your world upside-down. On the bright side, nothing was broken or twisted (yet), but he was left dangling by his ankles. The stop was enough to jolt his bag off his shoulders, hanging humorously close few branches below. No items. No Pokemon. Crap. 

Or not so crap, if the passerby was friendly enough!

You would think these idiots would stop trying to break into the league building. Ever since Plasma managed to make a mockery of the building’s security (and building in general, with a castle like that), everyone thought it was a good laugh to see how far in they could get. ‘I just wanted to explore the old plasma headquarters’ they’d say. Most of the time they were sent off without any bother to the elites, but apparently this one thought to mention his name specifically. It was smart,, until you factored in the wrath he would crash upon them....

....Nevermind. It was just N. Poor guy probably tried the front door, too.

As if on cue, the aforementioned variable appeared (most likely emerging from somewhere in the bushes). "Yes?"

“...Of course.”
