"that character can't be trans fem because we need rep for boys who are feminine" and "these characters can't be gay because we need rep for healthy male friendship" are the same mindset of hyperfocusing on fan response instead of actual text. where are all the trans fem characters with detailed self-acceptance arcs??? where are all the gay couples with focused plot build-up, especially in genres considered "masculine" like action??? in addition to prioritizing cishet sensibilities with a thin progressive veil, it's just a nonsensical thing to say because the representation being defended is more common than the representation being derided as "actually following gender roles tbh."

i love how white people are supposed to be graciously forgiven for having a racist past because "they were kids and didn't know any better" but no one gives a flying fuck about the black kids that were subjected to brutal racist bullying during their childhoods. bullying that we're still subject to today because nothing has changed. white people were not being racist to some amorphous, unfeeling entity in some vacuous, isolated section of the internet, they were hurling slurs, racist "jokes"/imagery and antiblackness at REAL ACTUAL CHILDREN while gaslighting and mocking us for being upset, and no one gives a fuck!! we're just supposed to forgive these people who are never sorry and never will be and if not we're the problem and im so sick of it

I think collector would show signs of mild/medium claustrophobia from being trapped for so long. Like he would HATE any kind of small dark rooms. Like i genuinely think they would sleep with a light on, leave doors open wherever they go so they don’t feel trapped, and has less of a habit of flying through space casually now because of the darkness (he usually opts for portal doors now instead) 😭😭 Sometimes I remember they’ve been trapped in mostly one place for eons, and for the last 300 years he’s been restricted to only move wherever Belos goes. To top it all off their not even in their real body either , but a 2D shadow of it which might’ve been somewhat dysmorphic,,,
