as far as antagonists go: diamondback was great as a menacing challenge to luke’s character and his growth but he seemed a little too cookie cutter like other mcu villians, it honestly made me miss cornell, but overrall - shades and mariah’s dynamic stole that part of the show for me. also, im gonna assume shades isn’t metahuman? ?? cause at first when he pulled his shades off to talk to someone it seemed like he was doing it to… telepathically reach in their heads through eye contact or some shit. but that’s just his style it apparently.

luke cage was phenomenal. kinda damn salty though. the last five minutes was just set up for shit to come, and while luke feels some sort of closure that shit is faux asf. shits only gonna get worse, and now i gotta play the waiting game. ya'll couldn't have just done away with one of those assholes? ??
