It was a hot summer day in August (pun intended) and Wille was lazily lounging at the pool. He was bored as fuck and mindlessly scrolling through his socials when a message from his (second) cousin popped up.

„Hey, what are you up to?“

A simple „Check your mail.“, reads the text Auggie just got from Wille.

He makes his way downstairs to the mailbox and grins when he sees there’s a rather large package waiting for him. He’s curious and wants to rip it open right away but he’s also cautious. You never know with Wille. He’s so damn hot and cold it’s giving Auggie whiplash. But he would do anything for him.

Anything as in he’s currently wearing a super tight, very short black dress and high stockings. Because that’s what was in the package. Wille was having a bad day. And it was only 3am.

He woke up from a nightmare about some kale monster chasing him through the palace. He couldn’t fall back asleep for hours and then he slept through his alarm. There wasn’t even time left to take a shower.

Embracing his greasy hair he hurried to the dining hall for breakfast. But since he was running so late the room was already empty and to Wille’s horror he saw that there weren’t even any cinnamon rolls left. For fuck’s sake.

He hastily turned around and rushed out of the hall to get to his first class. He didn’t pay attention and bumped into some guy who spilled his whole coffee over Wille’s shirt. You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. Wille wasn’t sure if he wanted to scream or cry. Or maybe even both.

He jogged to his bedroom to quickly get changed and rushed back to the classroom, which was already closed because of course he was now too late to his first lesson as well.

When he entered all sweaty, flushed and apologising to his teacher he noticed that his classmates were giving him funny looks. He was looking down on him and saw that he was wearing his new shirt inside out. Wille wanted the ground to swallow him whole. Could this day get any worse.

His walk of shame to the last row where his seat was felt forever. But at least he managed it without tripping or something.

After he reached his desk he saw that there were two cinnamon rolls lying on it. He sat down and noticed the small note that read “Missed you at breakfast Your Royal Highness, A. <3” A huge smile lit up his face.

But Auggie’s face fell and he made a gesture as if it wasn’t important.

The sudden mood switch and the increasing noise made them to decide to call it a day.

And if Auggie confessed how much he likes Wille that evening, and he thought Wille’s loud “WHAT?” was the reaction to this secret he let him in and not just the noise drowning his words… he will never find out that Wille feels the same.
