Silent struggles we all hide,
Beneath the smiles we put aside.
The pain and hurt deep inside,
Unknown to even our closest ally.

Their inner demons, pain so real.

We cannot know the battles they have waged.
So let us show a little grace,
With kindness in every single place.
For who knows what battles others face,
And a simple act of love can change the pace
