kagura and gintoki my top 2 favorite characters of the series.. kagura’s always copying gintoki.. she picks her nose and she makes the same expressions he does and she knows him well enough to imitate all his classic mannerisms when he’s gone to go around town and do the typical odd jobs.. she thinks gintoki is annoying and he has stinky feet but she likes him soooo much (says so outright in the manga multiple times!) and she wants to stay with him forever. and gintoki will never kick her out even when (if) she ages past adulthood and he complains about her being a useless kid that’s still clinging to his legs

took me over 300 episodes to start liking shinpachi but yknow what. maybe he is alright (idol obsession is what got me)

benizakura movie about to make me lose it that’s where katsura and takasugi diverge!!! katsura saw hope when he saw that gintoki was still alive and living his life even if that meant not paying his rent and barely making enough money to get by. he saw that gintoki, who should have been the most affected out of all of them, had actually moved on and something with his life. except when takasugi sees this he doesn’t see an opportunity to finally move on bc he thinks that none of them should move on bc that would mean forgetting shoyo. he’s sooo bitter that gintoki is able to move past shoyo’s death when he’s still so obsessed with it that he’s holding onto a conflict that ended a decade ago. takasugi wishing that gintoki had killed him (and katsura by extension) instead of shoyo is the same thing as him wanting gintoki to remain just as miserable and hateful as himself. 

watching gintama like wow it really does start getting good after 50 episodes. all the mfs who told me to just keep watching were right sadly

i tried to kill myself also i watched/read trigun and it’s done irreversible damage to me. i hope vash laid in the grave he dug with wolfwood for a little bit before getting back up to protect the orphanage and that he considers it their marriage bed etc etc... he should start talking to himself during his travels after like he’s talking to wolfwood even if he gets weird looks... h
