Sure thing!! I haven't done a full rec list in a while because I've been ridiculously busy, but here are a few newer fics I've been loving! - Tough to be tender by @lealu - AU where Max and George both write brocedes fanfic and, unbeknownst to them, are also colleagues who can't stand each other, or so it seems. A lot of people have called this a love letter to fandom and I agree! But it's so much more. This George will take you through such a raw, compelling emotional journey. Just a wonderful iteration of Gax.

- Innovation at the Crimson Cow by the lovely @amenaceamess - Chef AU, multichapter. Fluffy and sweet and just the right amount of angsty too! Lovely lovely lovely.

And, by the same author: - You will always be my favorite ghost - insanely good concept for an AU that's still canon-adjacent, where each driver's soul is tied to their car and George, having given everything to Mercedes, loses his memories upon retirement, and he forgets about Max, too. SO GOOD but extremely angsty!

- The body always win by @sayagainheading - I normally don't really like abo but this fic is so unique and well crafted and I really liked the dynamic it portrayed.

- Under the light of a lonely star by moza74747 - AU where George is an alien who crash-lands in Max's backyard. This story is such a journey and it actually made me shed a few tears!

The cassandra's curse series by @keepitfreezyy - where George actually has powers and they make everything even messier than it is. It's so surprisingly sweet and just a touch angsty, too. Beautiful!

- making the bed by reconnaissance - where, after an accident, George spends some time in an alternate reality where he and Max are together and he has to comes to terms with what that means. Gutwrenchingly beautiful!
