i assume that's anon's name, (thankfully my ancient ass pinterest account doesn't have a real name attached to it. just an old username) i usually catch and remove the tracking data of links (everything that comes after a ? in a link is tracking data and can and should be removed before sharing it anywhere) but whatever url shortener they're using folds the tracking data in so i managed to miss that this time.

Looking back to an even older video (from 2020ish), Jenna uploaded to youtube, where they play a couple's filter game who's more likely etc, you can see how fast things shifted, but even then it wasn't perfect (they get the basic-est things about each other wrong). Tyler's reaction to the score being "Great, let's stay married I guess" (not even smiling back to Jenna, ending the joke) still cracks me up.

yeah, honestly. on her side i imagine part of it might just be, that was possibly the best video she'd gotten either on that day/in a while, and she just wanted something to post, and called it good enough, because tyler was at least humoring the presence of a camera and didn't immediately ask her to stop filming. she's also probably more than aware of the way people react to the stuff she posts, and thus knew, no one was gonna be pointing out to her the fact that tyler seemed checked out as hell (especially bc it was a story and not a real post with a real comment section)

That whole video feels weird to me. And I don’t even buy the argument that he just looks relaxed rather than annoyed, because if he were genuinely in a good mood and simply relaxed, then the moment he noticed her filming him, you’d expect at least a tiny smile or some kind of reaction. Instead, he just keeps the exact same expression the whole time.

Remember when both of their families used to hang out together at shows, and now they always seem to be separate? During the Ohio shows for Breach, they were clearly in different areas according to people's stories, and I even saw photos of Josh's family down on the floor while Tyler's family was up in the seats.

And remember when Tyler would sometimes bring his whole family along to shows in other cities? They all seemed really close back then. Even after Maddy and Zack had their first daughters, everyone still seemed to spend a lot of time together. Remember Tyler’s birthday tradition of going to that arcade/game place every year, and 2021 was the last time he did it. What happened to that tradition? he used to celebrate it with everyone. You could tell it was something personal and meaningful , and now he doesn’t celebrate it that way anymore.

And having kids isn’t really an excuse, because if that were the case, then nobody with children would ever be able to do anything anymore. Having kids definitely makes things more complicated, but it doesn’t mean your entire life suddenly stops. Anyway, there have pretty clearly been some shifts and distancing happening on multiple levels there.

But especially between Tyler and the family as a whole, and as a result, between Jenna and Maddy and Tatum too. Obviously they still see each other and get together sometimes, but before, you could actually see that the siblings were friends. They would hang out because they wanted to, not just because it was a holiday, a family obligation, or a special occasion.

Tyler used to write things that made it seem like he really wanted to be part of the family, and sometimes even carried guilt about certain things. He wrote My Blood for his family, but during the Clancy Tour he said that, while it was originally about family, now it feels more like it’s for us now. I don't know, it just feels like something shifted. Like nowadays he doesn't seem to put the same emphasis on that aspect of his life anymore, or at least not in the way he used to.

also like. if tyler and josh found it at all "offensive" they would not have spent the last decade of interviews and behind the scenes content talking about kissing each other. "aren't they married?" YEAH. AND THEY SHOULD KNOW THAT TOO. HOWEVER. THAT HAS NOT STOPPED THEM.

“We have to look out for each other” on the first day of Pride Month is absolutely the kind of thing a closeted person would say when they can’t be completely direct about what they’re trying to express. It feels like the kind of thing someone would say when they’re trying to communicate something indirectly rather than outright saying it

Like, the specific phrase he chose made it incredibly obvious to me. I genuinely can’t read it any other way. And the way the Instagram caption was different? That made it even more obvious to me. It just made the intention seem clearer. He knows he has a lot more freedom on Twitter, unlike Instagram, where basically everyone he knows ends up seeing the band’s page. So the contrast between the two captions definitely caught my attention.

yeah the difference between the captions is really notable, especially because the one on insta feels more "professional" vs twitter sounds more personal, and frankly, more warm.

like if not for the lowercase you could very easily convince me that mark wrote the insta caption. i would never believe that he wrote the twitter caption.

Happy Pride Month to this specific tweet. I still can’t believe he actually wrote that entire caption, looked at it, and then decided to post it anyway.

Totally normal behavior to make a joke referencing a viral cheating story while you’re married and then casually add that you and your best friend would only get caught if you wanted to be :)

That insane caption when you add the context of pride, especially with it being posted on the very first day of Pride Month . I am genuinely losing my mind over this. I hate Tyler. He knows exactly what he's doing.

The photos he chose to post on Twitter because he knows we eat that stuff up and then him randomly bringing up the LA Vessel era in an interview right after we spent days talking about that lore online. He feeds us way too much, I swear. And it’s all intentional too. None of it is a coincidence. He enjoys the fact that, with us, he can express things in a more subtle, implied way that he’d rather be able to express more openly

(This might be a horrendous stretch, but perhaps Tyler is more casual on twitter cause certain people aren't active there, cough Debby cough. But of course, it might be a treat to twitter shippers who are alive and well, digging up old moments joshler love to reminisce about). Like clockwork, when my twitter feed has been filled with pride related old TOP tweets/photos, this has to be intentional

Anyway, the fact that they posted that on the very first day of Pride Month feels way too intentional not to side-eye it. Like, the AMAs happened on May 25th, for the love of God . They had all this time to post about it, and that was the day they chose? sure

right??? of all the days to finally make a post about it, the first of pride is a Wild choice

Seriously, he waited all this time to say something about the AMAs and then decides to post about it on the first day of Pride, using nothing but pictures of himself looking at Josh? 🫠
