The Government is trying to keep the truth about Palmyra under wraps, but we have people inside and outside the city working day and night to expose the truth.

Here’s what we know:

There are over 100,000 people still trapped within the city

After the mysterious phenomenon “The Flash” Palmyra was quarantined on March 31.

Fighting between the Liberty Lions of several branches of the Federal Government (including the ATF, DHS, and FBI) is ongoing, and has no end in sight.

The Government has issued a communications blackout around the city, and is restricting humanitarian access to the war zone.

Kurdizov Industries has stepped up to provide medical care for citizens stuck within the city, which has led to an outcry of opposition. Many think that the administration is using this is tragedy to further privatization Federal services like FEMA.

Some (unconfirmed) reports claim that there is a mysterious illness spreading through the city. The government has categorically denied this, claiming that the quarantine is a safeguard against contaminants released by the ”Flash.”

We are still trying to verify much of this information, but communication within the city is sparse and travels slowly. We will release more comprehensive news as we have it. If you’d like to stay informed about the situation within the Palmyra Exclusion Zone, please sign up below.

I was checking out this kickstarter from @shadowsatthedoor (it sounds really good! Go give them your money!) when I realized, I never listened to their last miniseries they kickstarted. So I downloaded Earworm. It is so good. I love a horror musical anyway (this is your reminder to listen to Slaughterhouse Road), but I liked how this one specifically played with genre as characterization. And the music was great, too, I was humming some of those songs all day, especially the one where the guy at the wine store read David Ault for filth. Earworm is super fun and I highly recommend it.

And I highly recommend you support Beck's End! I love folk horror and I love learning things about corners of the world we don't hear about as much, like Northern England.

📚 @somethingsamissatjunipershouse’s last episode was from last week, but i couldn’t resist. Wyatt has officially graduated from annoying bystander to poor little meow meow. And I’m liking Finley’s plan! If they can keep their head around Juniper of course. Surely nothing will go wrong. (I wonder if Wyatt will remember what’s happened to him…)

🔥 I don’t love every crossover Forgive Me does, but this one with Two Thousand and Late was stupendous. I love the way a third person brings out more in Harper and Havoc’s relationship. It honestly makes me wonder if Havoc is lonely riding around in Harper’s head.

🦴 BONE MECH BONE MECH BONE MECH i have very normal feelings about this week’s episode of @eelerschoice. The fact that the bone singing brought on this accidental necromancy is just. So cool. Almost as cool as a BONE MECH

❄️ Counterbalance from @trilunis is always excellent, but the raw emotional pain coming from Rakha this episode is HEARTBREAKING. I knew those nerds were friends. Is that enough to save them? I can’t wait to find out.

🕰️ Calling All Adventurers from @thetowerarray never misses, but I’m obsessed with the mystery they built throughout this season and solved in this week’s episode. It is incredibly well-structured and I love how it works. AND THEN the automaton showed up!!!! This show rules.

🪐 I was so excited to see @scifis-finest appear on my dash—more audio drama criticism! I love that they built a little audio drama scaffold for their reviews, very fitting. If I have one complaint, it would be about the mixing. (I couldn’t hear Slack without turning the show up loud enough for Anna Maria to blast my eardrums.) But the reviews were so thoughtful that I didn’t mind too much.
