" Yes I am very insistent on deal and I do hear no from time to time but most women are not interested in me just what I can give them . I simply want to talk about why you should work with me "
Briggs fell silent, contemplating what to do next. A minute passed and she sighed.
"If we do dinner, it does not need to be fancy," she stated. "I am saying yes to talking, but please don't assume this means you'll get a yes at the end for the translator device.. I'll meet you at the restaurant."
She bid him good night and left, heading back to her own place for the evening.

How would one phrase this without being rude?
Some women at the event whispered about Bruce, mostly talking about his looks, wealth, and a few shamelessly murmured he was still single, but seen with lots of beautiful women on his arm – never the same one.
"You're very insistent on that deal, aren't you?" Briggs replied. "I'm guessing you don't hear 'no' very often?"

"How many bloody times do I have to get these questions?" Seb muttered to himself as he left his last class for the day.
Prior to him leaving the classroom, one of his classmates cornered him and asked if he could pass along a message to his roommate. Just because he was rooming with another non-US student that had an accent like him, some of the girls thought it made sense to make him play the messenger for their stupid confessions or invitations to parties or events. Sure asking someone out is intimidating, but why do these people insist on making him play the messenger?
He shook his head and put his earbuds in as he walked to the cafeteria for dinner.
It wasn’t often that Morgan felt terribly homesick. He was usually very good at dealing with the differences of culture between South Korea and the United States. But sometimes he really did just miss home. But the break wasn’t long enough to really validate traveling around the world to see his parents, and Chuseok was much nicer in the country that celebrated it than not. His training schedule was the same no matter what, and that was what he had been busying himself with that day.
Most of the time, he tended to keep to the Korean food. But when he heard Sloppy Joes were on the menu, it reminded him of a childhood friend’s mother. It was something that he wouldn’t have expected to make the menu, so he had hope that it wouldn’t be too bad. But when he heard the voice warning him away from it, he looked towards who was speaking to him. It wasn’t anyone that he recognized, which didn’t surprise him that much. He had mostly been spending his time trying to keep up in his glasses and training.
“Is it really that bad?” He asked, but he had to assume that was probably the case. Most people wouldn’t give an outright warning like that. And now that he was able to get a peek at some of the food that was being held, his hope died. He was pretty sure he had never seen a sloppy joe sauce look that color. “Do you have any recommendations?” Morgan asked, because he was not in the mood to have his usual meal. He had his heart set on something a little heavier, something that his trainer would roll their eyes at him over.
"Anything but the Western food station," Jimin said with a wince. "I'm telling you this in English because he's not fluent in it, but he has never traveled outside the country. He's guessing at recipes or dishes and often he's just ad-libbing with whatever he has on hand."
He stepped back slightly to give the young man some space.
"If you really want Western food, I would suggest going off campus," Jimin said after a pause. "There's a few places in Gangnam that make decent American, British, and Italian food. Haven't seen much for French or German food, beyond dessert so far."
The chef at the Western station greeted Jimin in Korean and Jimin politely told him to have a good day. The chef went back to focusing on cleaning a pot and Jimin turned back to the young man.
"Sorry for interrupting," Jimin added.

"I'm afraid my partner Foggy is tied up – he's been inundated with cases these past few months," Seungmin explained as he stood before the other person.
"I am the co-partner of this firm – if you are looking for someone to represent you, then I am available to assist," he added. "Or are you possibly the individual that left Foggy flustered when he went out a few nights ago? I'm afraid he was scant on the details, other than he never met anyone like this individual."

Usually when anyone from the Smithsonian barges into his office, Sweets gets very upset and will demand to know why said person can't just make a proper appointment. Bones will get a quip from Sweets, but often the delivery sounds more like someone who is exhausted and done with everyone walking over him. Perhaps a part of him has quietly accepted that out of all of the people on Bones's team, Bones is the least likely to barge in or annoy him, so Sweets has figured that it probably must be somewhat serious.
Bones was the first one to notice when Sweets broke up with Daisy. The latter thought he hid it well, but Bones noticed how oddly professional the psychiatrist was acting towards the bubbly intern and even putting distance between himself and Daisy if she tried getting too close.
"I take it that her decision to choose her career and dismiss you as a last resort was the nail in the coffin?" Bones asked Sweets eventually. "Look, she can do what she wants – I don't want her to not do something that could improve her career and credentials," Bones sighed. "It's just, the way she said it...felt like I was a burden to her or the reason why she was a rotational intern on some of the cases and not a published doctor with recent findings to report on and share. Then she comes back and acts like the break-up never happened."
"So...if you're not a virgin, then why do you seem like you're a puppy when you're dating someone?" Bones once asked, partially out of curiosity and perhaps he wanted to push Sweets a little. "Doctor, you should know that it's a honeymoon phase – the majority of people in new relationships look at it with rose-tinted glasses and act more giddy or spontaneous when it's something new," Bones reasoned with a shrug. "That's not what I asked Sweets..."
If Bones was with someone during the time they worked with Sweets, the latter isn't afraid to turn the tables and lightly ask how things are going with Bones and his partner. Sure he's not going to get straight answers, but Sweets gets some satisfaction trying to make Bones see how awkward it is to question a relationship or the intimate details of one.
"You? With a weapon? Nah Sweets, you're too nice to handle one!" Bones insisted with a wave of his hand. Contrary to belief, Sweets did get some training and certification before his current position with the FBI. Caroline insisted it was wise he have some way of defending himself and not be completely green if something went south. He will rarely use one, unless the situation calls for one.
"So Cher, you seem awfully invested in seeing Dr. Sweets, despite complaining nonstop a couple of months ago about the probation," Caroline noted to Bones one day in passing. "I just don't want my gun to be taken again," Bones insisted. Caroline doesn't buy it, naturally and likely shot him a sort of skeptical, yet knowing look.
Clark and some of the squinterns probably made private bets about Bones and Sweets.
When Bones thought it would be funny to mimic the squinterns for Halloween, Sweets was a little baffled and initially thought Bones was trying to be a stereotypical nerd. "Come on Sweets! Really? Are you that dense?" Bones groaned.
Amara looked down at the small wallet containing what she needed. Much of the work she did back home was easier to just get a text with a location, a name, and a picture of her target. Undercover work wasn't her strong suit.
She snatched the wallet up, probably with more force than she needed to since the younger woman seemed like she was just trying to help out. Amara wasn't used to working with other people on these types of missions.
"Do I really need it? Wouldn't it just be easier to sneak in, do the job, and sneak out? Seems like a waste of time trying to get to infiltrate a group -- make fake friends, gain their trust," she mumbled, just to muse out loud what she'd been thinking. "Just stretches out the mission with extra work when I could be done in an hour."
"Merlin's orders," Briggs said with a shrug. "Also we've had issues with some agents in the UK and South Korean branches who chose to deviate from the plans and they nearly got themselves in difficult positions that would have been impossible to get out of." Eggsy and Amelie from the respective branches came to mind, but Briggs refrained from sharing their names or any incidents where those two chose to deviate from the mission plans in favor of their preferred methods.
"The way I see it, it's easy to pretend to look like you belong and because most of these attendees are too busy downing champagne or appetizers, they usually don't remember people or faces too well," Briggs added. "Before I forget, Merlin is your handler today – normally you would get me because I'm from the same branch as you, but unfortunately I'm on 3 other missions and we are very understaffed. We never fully recovered after V Day."

"Everyone's trying to get in to ethics because the university didn't make enough courses this year for it. Everyone's trying to get in at once." If it wasn't for her being on the waiting list for the last two semesters, she'd have been forced to wait another year to graduate, which was looking more tempting each day considering she had no plan after this year ended.
Kai shrugged her shoulders, taking pity on the young man who looked out of breath. He must have come pretty far -- it was going to be a long semester for him if he had to do this twice a week.
"You know, you could probably rent one of the bikes to get around faster. Would suck if it rains, but better than getting a run in between classes."
"I should get a bike or scooter, but I wouldn't know what to do with it over the summer," he explained. "Since the campus housing includes the furniture, I really don't have to store a lot of stuff when I go home to the UK. I already leave my smaller stuff with a friend of mine because he was really nice to offer and he lives here."
Seb took a seat in the middle of the lecture hall and pulled out his laptop, a notebook, and a pen. His bag went on the floor by his feet and he shifted to get comfortable in the hard plastic chair.
She had been on her way out after a long night of mingling and networking when Bruce stopped her. She paused and looked at him, a bit skeptically.
"Dinner?"
She turned slightly towards him. "Do you always wine and dine people like this?"

“It is a fair one, but to be honest, I don’t typically associate you with translation or technology,” Briggs replied, looking thoughtful.
“Please don’t take what I said the wrong way,” she added. “This is based on what I’ve read about in the news and your efforts with supporting blue sky ideas and businesses.”
She excused herself when a few professors and advisors came over to congratulate her and chat about the success of the prototype. Her family also embraced her as the evening wore on and she departed, a big decision to make now that she had multiple offers for mass-producing her translation device.

Mr. Isami glanced at Bruce amused by the sudden offer. “Mr. Wayne, you seem quite eager to get in on this young woman’s device,” he noted. “Well make no mistake, you know my company is a leading expert on technology.”
He turned to face Briggs and passed over his business card. “Miss Ainsley, this is my contact information. Please think it over.” Mr. Isami excused himself and left Briggs alone with Bruce.
Briggs turned to face Bruce and tilted her head as she met his eyes. It seemed unreal for two companies to be interested in her idea that she finalized for her undergrad thesis. She was familiar with the Japanese company and their expertise. Yet, it seemed surprising for one of the most well-known figures in business to take an interest in her invention. What was his intent, she had to wonder.

Before the young woman could respond, a gentleman stepped forward and smiled pleasantly at Bruce with an acknowledging nod. The gentleman extended a hand to Briggs and introduced himself as Ryosuke Isami.
“I’m the CEO of a Japanese electronics company,” Ryosuke introduced himself. “I can see Mr. Wayne has extended you an offer, but I would like to make an offer as well.” He met Briggs’s eyes and explained that he would work closely with her to produce and market her translation device.

"Чёрт! Felix, please tell me you have clothes on under those sheets..." Minho muttered as he came back late from a mission.
"come and find out!" the new agent crooned out and wiggled his fingers towards minho over the covers where he is sort of wearing clothes if you count boxers as one. "how was your mission? successful as always?"
"If I die young, you're burying me," Minho sighed as he tossed his duffle bag towards the closet. He toed off his boots and stretched to alleviate some of the tension in his body.
He ran a hand through his hair and sighed as he sat down on the bed.
"Yeah it was...just took too long. I do not like working with Daisy – she's so indecisive at times," he sighed. He laid back on his bed and tried to get comfortable.
