About the author:

My name is Cai (aka Metallikato exclusively on AO3 ), and I'm a fanfiction author. This is my writing blog, where I talk about AUs for various fandoms. I have been writing for about 6 years, and have been active on AO3 for about 8.

Primarily, I write Transformers mpreg. I also write yuri fanfiction sometimes. I enjoy Guilty Gear, Transformers, Pokemon (particularly Generation 5 and 6), and Metalocalypse.

To be clear, I'm an adult who writes stories that sometimes center around mature (but not sexually explicit) subjects. I really would rather only speak to people around my age. I would rather not interact with people who are minors.

A few thoughts on Waspinator:

He doesn’t have biological children and that’s a shame because he’d be an absolutely doting, if not overly anxious, father to his kids.

Because he’s constantly blown to bits and having to reassemble himself, he’d be hyper-vigilant and spend most of his time shielding his kids from any and every possible danger.

The mental image of him patching up his kids and trying to put on a brave face accompanied by awkwardly flapping his giant wasp wings? Precious beyond compare.

He would talk to his sparkling in a classic Waspinator manner - talking to them in the third person: “Universe as been unkind to Waspinator, but Waspinator will not let Universe be unkind to sparklings.”

OUGH yes! He'll give his babies the best lives he possibly can!

There are a few times in Warm Horizons where Lockdown goes without his prosthetic arm because he's so uncomfortable all the time and taking off his arm makes it easier for him to relax, and because his residual limb (or, as he calls it, his stump) swells up during his carrying cycle because his systems are pumping more energon to keep up with the strain on his systems. That's why I sometimes depict him in my drawings and in the fic itself as being without hook.
