She couldn’t help but laugh seeing Sora chase after another crab, with his determined look on his face. He was just so hopeless sometimes. "Just make sure you don’t hurt the crabbies Sora. That would be really mean if any of them hurt like you did."

"No! Crabbie come back!" He popped back up though, arm reaching after the creature which quickly scuttled away as if doing so would bring it to him.

Sora let out a squeak of surprise when his hair was attacked once more. Such things he didn't mind so no fuss would arise from it other than that initial sound. "Big people are no fair." The brunet pouted slightly, they always seemed to favour the girls with such things. Not fair at all.

"It didn’t know any better. Maybe its mama didn’t teach him how to say hello to people like you and me, and he was trying to be nice." She said seriously. She didn’t know how crabs thought, and maybe it was trying to shake his hand, and accidentally pinched him. They may never know.

"Do you really want that to happen to Riku? Think about how bad you felt when the crab pinched you. Do you think Riku deserves that?"

"C-Crabbie mama's are meaner mamas--" Kairi had a point. It wasn't like the crab could talk to them like they could to each other. Maybe it was saying 'thank you for not letting me fall'.. Or something. 

"Eh-" Kairi had another point. Why was it her and Riku were so much smarter than him? It made Sora upset on the inside. "N-No I-I don't want Riku to get hurt-" Riku was his bestest friend after all! "B-But he's always teasing me- M-Maybe- I-I just-- If he got pinched I could tease him-" Saying that didn't make him feel any better though. He could never win could he? 

"No.. I-If someone gets pinched I should get pinched! Th-Then Riku and Kairi don't have to feel all bad!" Slowly Sora began to smile again. "I'll- I'll hold all the crabbies!" He paused as a somewhat larger crab caught his gaze. "Like that one!" He pointed at it and as luck would have it-

Oh no. Sora was about to cry. That wasn’t good. "Gimmie your hand. Let me see your where it pinched you Sora." Kairi quickly reached over and grabbed the crab by the shell and slowly pulled it out of Sora’s hand to make sure it didn’t break the skin, and put it back into the sand, where it scurried away back towards the ocean.

Sora was oh-so glad when that tiny monster was taken away. Now he knew why his mom said no when he asked to hold one. He'd stick to kitty cats and bunnies. At least they didn't pinch him! "I-I'm not crying-" Sora was quick to retort as he furiously rubbed at his eyes, "R-Riku can't tease me if I'm not crying-!" 

Of course, that didn't stop the soft sniffle. "That tiny crab is a meaner-" Glistening sky blues peered from behind his hand towards where he thought the crab to be. "I was only trying to save him from falling and getting hurt a-and he pinched me-" How Kairi avoided getting pinched puzzled him, maybe it just liked girls better? Probably. 

"Yeah! It looks like a little baby one too. Here, gimme your hand."  She said, before handing Sora the crab. "His feet really tickle, so try not to drop him okay!" She giggled, looking up at the boy to see his reaction to seeing a little baby crab walking around on his hand. This is going to be really amusing.

"Uwaaaaaah!" 

Blue eyes widened immensely at the little sea creature when it was placed onto his outstretched hands. It was so tiny! Tinier than- A kitty! Yeah! "Tiny crab- You're so tiny!" Sora looked between his friend and the crab in his hands, it wasn't often that he got to hold a crab! His mom always said they'd pinch him so he wasn't allowed. 

"Oh!" Sora flinched, the crab nearly fell off his palm, but he quickly moved his other hand to cup over it. "There now you won--"

His expression held for a moment before Sora's eyes slowly began to fill up with tears.

"Wah!? She gives Kairi candy lots?!" Just how unfair were big people? 

"Sora! Check it out, I found a crab hiding in a seashell!"

Normally Sora would be the one sleeping until all hours of the day unless woken up- But today seemed weird. He'd been up and out the door so fast he swore he heard his mother ask what he did with her 'real' son. What a meaner! He'd show her! He'd get a lot of pretty shells and make her feel bad! 

Upon reaching the beach Sora spotted a friend- Who seemed to notice him first because she spoke.
