Have a beta version that includes the changes announced on 3 February 2016: Updated TIS for 16E6, 16E7, 16E8, 16E9 and 17E8 that reduces 26 to 13 for E5/6/7 and 16 to 8 for E8 and E9. Updated TIG for 2016 promotion cycles from 40 to 20 points. For 16E7 and later, board scores can now be typed in instead of SKT scores. The First change of the Weighted Airman Promotion System is the SCOD (Static Closeout Date) for all E-6/TSgt’s of 11/30/3014 for evaluation reports.

Air Force Simplifying Enlisted Promotions

The Air Force will change over next two years the enlisted promotions criteria and evaluations to focus on an airman’s performance. Time in service and time in grade points will be phased out. EPR points will be based on the last three evaluation reports.

On Thursday, May 23, the Air Force Personnel Center will announce the selections for the 2013 Master Sergeant promotion cycle. Read more about the statistics at AF Selects 3,841 for MSgt

On Thursday, February 28th, it is expected that the Air Force Personnel Center will be announcing the promotion selections for 13E8. Check http://www.afpc.af.mil/promotions for the alpha list and promotion statistics this cycle.

On Friday, December 21st, at 9:30 EST (1530Z), WAPS Promotion Calculators will participate in the National Moment of Silence remembering the victims of the  Sandy Hook Elementary School.  You are encouraged to take this time to reflect on this tragedy.
